Abstract: Disclosed is an integrated and streamlined system and method for collecting, containing and processing different types of wastes which provides an economically efficient solution of treating wastes and utilizing the collected data in an operationally useful manner either or both of the waste generator and processor. The present system and method include waste containment in compliance of the laws and governmental regulations, and processing of the wastes. In one embodiment, the system and method also includes compilation and utilization of data relating to the collected and processed wastes.

Abstract: An inflatable mattress comprising a pair of exterior tubes longitudinally disposed in parallel on opposite sides of the mattress in combination with a plurality of parallel connected interior tubes smaller in diameter then the exterior tubes and in sufficient number and dimension to partially enwrap a human user reclining on the inflated mattress.
Abstract: The panel wall pool includes a sidewall with spaced apart panels supported in an upright position when the pool is empty by an inflatable ring, which also provides the protection of a cushion along the top of the sidewall area. The sidewall also includes a reinforcing band which encircles the panels to bind the panels together to substantially prevent individual panels from being forced outward and to help to prevent the outward bending or bowing of the sidewall of the pool.
Abstract: An anti-theft device for small portable equipment and method includes at least one conductor extending therefrom having a first end permanently connected to the equipment and a second end formed into a plug for fitting into a receptacle. The anti-theft device comprises a planar disk having a penetration formed therethrough which is large enough to enable the passage of a loop of the equipment conductor but small enough to prevent the passage of the plug. A security cable passes through the loop of equipment conductor extending through the penetration of the planar disk. The security cable is securely anchored to prevent the removal of the loop of equipment conductor from the penetration of the planar disk which prevents the removal of the small portable equipment. The planar disk can be positioned to any location along the equipment conductor and along the security cable. In a preferred embodiment, the planar disk exhibits a flat, elongated shape and the penetration formed therethrough is oval shaped.
Abstract: An inflatable air mattress having a generally rectangular mat portion that is foldable or bendable in multiple directions in a fully inflated condition. The mat portion includes rows of generally sinusoidal seals extending transversely across the mat portion. Alternating rows of the sinusoidal seals are uniformly shifted out of phase by a range of about 1/8 to 3/8 of the repeating period, or a phase shift of from about .pi./4 radians to about 3.pi./4 radians, and most preferably by a phase shift of about .pi./2 radians. Alternating rows of inflation chambers are formed by the sinusoidal seals with enlarged body portions and neck portions of reduced thickness, which form natural fold lines in the mat portion when the mat portion is inflated. The mat portion is bendable longitudinally, transversely and obliquely to be rollable and foldable, and to permit the mat portion to cradle the torso and extremities of a person reclining on the inflatable mattress in water.
Abstract: A lateral exercise apparatus for use in performing side-to-side skating movements having a surface layer for performing the skating movements on each side thereof. Each side of the surface layer has a very low coefficient of friction. A plurality of adjustable clamps are utilized to adjust the length of the surface layer with each adjustable clamp including at least one pair of releasable clamping surfaces for gripping the surface layer. Each of a plurality of resilient bumpers are removably interlocked to one of the releasable clamping surfaces of each of the adjustable clamps for terminating the side-to-side skating movements. The resilient bumpers are wedge-shaped and have a low impact surface angle .THETA. of less than or equal to 20.degree.. Finally, a high friction layer is provided for underlying and securing the surface layer to a floor surface.
Abstract: A watchcase and watchframe suitable for mating and unmating one with the other by the use of a sealing means suitable for slidably translating the case within the frame and providing a substantially contiguous fit of the case within the frame.
Abstract: A light reflection and blinking light apparatus comprising a light emitter, a means for regulating the transmission of light from the light emitter, and a length of fiber optic in communication with the light emitter incorporating a means for reflecting the light transmitted within the fiber optic to the outside at a specified location, and method for using the same.
