Abstract: The reed valve assembly of the present invention includes a reed cage and a retainer that includes in once piece two or more reed petals. The retainer is independently interlockable with the reed cage. As defined herein, independently interlockable is understood to mean that no additional parts are required to connect the retainer to the reed cage. As implied by the term interlockable, the retainer and reed cage are separable.

Abstract: A dispensing system and method is used to dispense a bulk product or to mix and to dispense bulk products on site and to price the products according to the quantity and distribution thereof. The dispensing system preferably provides automated merchandising by providing up-to-date product information and by allowing customers to select and purchase one or more bulk products. The dispensing system can be located indoors or outdoors and is preferably designed for self-service and cash less transactions.
Abstract: Presented are several embodiments of a disposable elastomeric glove for protecting IV-catheters in human hands and forearms against water and water borne infection. Said protective glove (also called “IV-Glove”) comprises a resilient cylindrical or conical cuff snuggly embracing a human forearm thereby creating a watertight seal, which shields water from getting inside said glove during washing and showering. IV-Glove is made substantially loose around possible IV-catheter insertion sites, providing space large enough to accommodate IV-catheters along with infusion plugs and means of affixing said plugs and catheters to skin. IV-Glove may be manufactured in variety of types, of which some are intended to protect IV-sites in backs of human hands, whereas other types are more suited to protect IV-sites in human forearms. IV-Glove for a hand has increased body size bulging over a back of a hand.
Abstract: A system and method to facilitate the translation of Command Line Interface (CLI) configuration scripts associated with a device into the corresponding equivalent CLI configuration scripts of another device. The system includes a translator and one or more data dictionaries. The translator includes a user interface module, a translator logic module to enable the translation, and a current data dictionary module for retaining a selected data dictionary. Each of the data dictionaries includes common syntax generated for a variety of CLI script types. A particular data dictionary is referenced based upon initial input from a network administrator. The translator then generates the automated translation of corresponding scripts from those scripts associated with an original device into a device having differing script requirements.

Abstract: An arrangement structure of heat exchangers in a condensing gas boiler is provided, which includes a casing provided with a combustion chamber therein, and a gas burner provided in the lower portion of the combustion chamber.
Abstract: Presented is a method of manufacturing opened at both ends thin walled elastomeric sleeves of complex shapes. The proposed technique employs standard dip molding process but with modifications which enable producing of opened at both ends sleeves right from the drying stage and eliminates the necessity of cutting lower dipped ends subsequently to the dipping process. This technique allows sleeves to be manufactured with rolled beads at both ends. The main benefit of the present invention is a possibility of manufacturing sleeves on existing standard automated and semi-automated dip molding lines, traditionally used for manufacturing elastomeric gloves and condoms. The gist of the invention is a composition of a dipping former with a bottom coated by hydrophobic material such as PTFE. This composition impedes buildup of coagulant and coagulum on the bottom. The loose coagulum layer is removed by means of washing off with directed and appropriately timed sprinklers.
Abstract: The actuated leg prosthesis comprises a knee member, a socket connector provided over the knee member, an elongated trans-tibial member having a bottom end under which is connected an artificial foot, and a linear actuator. A first pivot assembly allows to operatively connect the trans-tibial member to the knee member. A second pivot assembly allows to operatively connect an upper end of the actuator to the knee member. A third pivot assembly allows to operatively connect a bottom end of the actuator to the bottom end of the trans-tibial member. The prosthesis can be provided as either a front actuator configuration or a rear actuator configuration.
Abstract: A system is disclosed to use a first rotary milling head to break or cut the bond of a heat transfer fin base to a boiler tube, thereby removing the heat transfer fins from the boiler tube, and a second rotary milling head to bevel the exposed end of the boiler tube, thereby facilitating the more efficient repair of the boiler tube.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the accumulation of hyperpolarized 129Xe is described. A gas mixture comprising 129Xe is flowed through a heat exchanger tube from the first end to the second end. Concurrently, the outer surface of the heat exchanger tube is controllably refrigerated, beginning with the second end, to a temperature low enough to freeze the 129Xe on the inner surface of the heat exchanger tube.
Abstract: A scissor apparatus including a first section and a second section pivotably connected to each other. Both the first section and the second section have a blade end and a handle end. The scissors also include a stop member attached to the handle end of the first section and a rotation assembly on the first section. The rotation assembly attaches the handle end to the blade end. The rotation assembly allows the handle end to be rotated into at least two positions. A method of using the scissors apparatus, the method including the steps of holding a portion of hair to be thinned, and running an open pair of scissors through the hair portion, wherein the scissors are locked in a rigid, open position by a stop mechanism.
