  • Patent number: 7372390
Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-input A/D converter circuit capable of shorting a conversion time without increasing its layout area and current consumption. When a most significant bit of a binary counter is “L”, individual input signals are sampled by a sample and hold unit, and digital signals held in respective data holders are sequentially selected by a selector. When the most significant bit is brought to “H”, the respective input signals are held as analog signals and compared with each of reference voltages produced corresponding to a digital signal by a DAC. When decision signals outputted from comparators are changed from “L” to “H”, the digital signal at that time is held in the individual data holders as digital signals.

  • Patent number: 7373450
Abstract: A multi-layer bus system includes an interconnect matrix, bus slaves, bus masters and a bus control circuit. The interconnect matrix has master connection ports and slave connection ports, and connects one of the master connection ports to one of the slave connection ports in response a control signal. The slaves are connected to the slave connection ports, respectively. The bus masters includes a priority bus master connected to one of the master connection ports and a non-priority bus master. The priority bus master generates a bus demand signal when it needs a real-time operation. The bus control circuit is connected between the non-priority bus master and the other master connection ports. The bus control circuit disconnects the non-priority bus master to the other master connection ports in response to the bus demand signal.

  • Patent number: 7373566
Abstract: A memory-logics LSI device forms an input/output path for testing. A memory device has a memory input/output unit, which includes an input/output selector with test function. A test clock signal, which is directly supplied in the test mode, is used to selectively take in one of input signals and an output signal to output the signal. The output is monitored on an external pin, while changing the timing of the positive-going edge of the clock signal, or the input signals. Relative measurement is then made on a delay amount indicating to which extent the input signals are delayedto cause a phase shift with respect to the clock signal,at the timing immediately before input to and after output from the memory device.

  • Patent number: 6826924
Abstract: Indoor circuits (60, 65) of indoor units (12, 13) are each connected in parallel to an outdoor circuit (20) of an outdoor unit (11). The outdoor circuit (20) has a gas vent pipe (35) by which a receiver (23) is brought into communication with suction sides of compressors (41, 42). During the heating operation in the heating mode of operation, a gas vent solenoid valve (36) is placed in the open state so that the receiver (23) decreases in pressure. This relaxes restrictions on the difference in installation height between each indoor unit of a multi type airconditioner having a plurality of indoor units.

  • Patent number: 6822501
Abstract: Offset voltage correction apparatus and method correct an input offset voltage in a comparator circuit with a very high accuracy. To detect an input offset voltage in a comparator, a counter circuit performs both up-count and down-count operations on a clock signal. An offset voltage correction circuit obtains a value (counter value) of a counter signal corresponding to an input offset voltage provided at the transition in a comparison signal from “1” to “0” and a value (counter value) of the counter signal corresponding to an input offset voltage provided at the transition from “0” to “1.” The offset voltage correction circuit performs a predetermined arithmetic operation using the counter values. The offset voltage in the comparator is corrected in accordance with this arithmetic operation result.

  • Patent number: 6820580
Abstract: A rotational angle sensor and a hydraulic pressure control valve are disposed such that a detecting end surface of the rotational angle sensor disposed close to a sensor rotor attached to an exhaust camshaft is located in a spray area of return oil discharged through a drain hole formed at a cam cap, which flows down through a lower drain port of the hydraulic pressure control valve attached on the cam cap from a variable valve timing mechanism. Further, the detecting end surface is located forward in the rotational direction, shown as the arrow a, of the exhaust camshaft so that the return oil can be positively carried toward the detecting end surface by the rotation of the sensor rotor. Accordingly, this can maintain properly detecting accuracy of the rotational sensor disposed close to the camshaft.
