    Abstract: A catheter device used in the catherization of a blood vessel during hemodialysis which comprises a hub assembly having at least a first and second fluid conduit each of which are connected in fluid communication with separate concentrically disposed tube elements so as to define a first and second fluid flow path. The concentrically arranged tube elements provide for a single puncture into the predetermined blood vessel wherein the first and second fluid conduits are interconnected to a continuous negative and positive source of fluid flow so that blood will be continuously drawn from and supplied to the predetermined blood vessel by means of the outer and inner tube elements respectively.

    Abstract: A processor for photographic plates or like elements comprising a housing through which the plates being processed travel and further including a plurality of work stations at least comprising a developer station, a scrubbing station and a wash-off station. The scrubber station comprises a rotatably mounted brush or like scrub element disposed in engaging relation to plates passing along the path of travel defined in the housing. A flexible backup element preferably in the form of a continuous flexible belt is disposed on the opposite side of the path of travel relative to the rotating brush wherein plates being processed, when passing between the brush and the backup element will undergo a scrubbing action on the surface exposed to the brush while receiving sufficient support from the backup element to allow the scrubbing action to take place.

The valve positioning tool also includes a positioning device for communicating with and locating the valves within the cylinder assembly. An extending device is attached to the frame and to the positioning device for axially extending the positioning device within the cylinder assembly. The detachable surfaces of the positioning device are adapted to deform when in contact with the valves and the internal surfaces of the cylinder assembly.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for storing, handling and orienting a plurality of containers of the type having a narrow neck portion with respect to another portion of the container, in which the axis of each container extends axially through the neck, includes means, such as standard "unscramblers", for receiving and storing the containers in a randomly distributed fashion and thereafter conveying the containers with the axes of all of the containers oriented parallel with respect to each other. A cam race guide rail arrangement on opposite sides of the conveyor engage and orients the containers such that all of the axes of the containers are parallel with respect to each other in a plane substantially normal to the plane of the conveyor, and with all of the necks of the containers extending in the same direction.

A trigger-operated mechanism is provided to advance the movable hook in the direction of the stationary hook, thereby tensioning and stretching material, such as fence wire, attached to the movable hook.     Abstract: An apparatus for programming a hand-held programmable electronic calculator of the type having depressible key inputs. The apparatus includes a program tape having a plurality of apertures therein forming a matrix defined by a plurality of rows and columns. Command pins are inserted within selected ones of the apertures for representing programming commands. A frame is included for receiving the calculator and for providing registration between the aperture matrix of the program tape and the depressible keys of the calculator. A plurality of levers are coupled to the frame for being actuated by the command pins to depress the calculator keys. A rotatable cam is included for engaging the command pin in each row of the program tape, and sequentially moving the command pins and the program tape through communication with the levers, thereby sequentially actuating the depressible keys for programming the calculator.

The process includes forming ionic patterns on at least one surface of a plate capable of bearing an electrostatic charge and applying one or more of the electroresponsive inks to the formed ionic pattern. The ink can be transferred to the pattern from a brush or like source disposed either in spaced relation to the surface of the charge plate or in direct contact therewith. The package assembly also includes structure capable of supporting and exposing the charge plate during application of the process as well as containing the materials for performing the process and the art product itself.

One of the panels has an aperture therethrough for allowing the entry of the crustaceans into the cavity. The cavity also contains a device for storing bait and a device for restraining the crustaceans within the cavity after they have eaten the bait and buoyantly floated to the upper portion of the cavity. The plurality of panels and the restraining device are attached by a plurality of hinges for allowing the panels and the restraining device to fold into the cavity, thereby collapsing the trap and allowing for more compact storage.

A control device is interconnected to activate the drive assembly upon receiving precoded information or signals from logic circuitry interconnected to the driving assembly of the platform, whereby the distance travelled by the platform is automatically converted into command signals to operate the conveyor and delivery element associated therewith.
