    Abstract: Condenser for compressed refrigerant gas or vapor from a compressor comprising a heat exchanger and evaporative cooling means, with the heat exchanger having two relatively parallel walls each of which has an outer surface, at least one of said walls being heat conductive, an inlet for receiving compressed refrigerant from the compressor, an outlet for delivering cooled compressed refrigerant to an evaporator, and a conduit connecting the inlet and outlet for the flow of compressed refrigerant therethrough, the conduit being between the two walls and parallel to the outer surfaces thereof, and with the evaporative cooling means for cooling the outer surface of the heat conductive wall as compressed refrigerant flows through the conduit.
