The pneumatic resister of linear motion can be selectively resistant to linear motion by means of flow resisters (2, 3) that can be adjustable of resistance or rate of inflow and outflow of air. Separate inflow and outflow resisters (2, 3) can be provided for adjustment of push and pull exercise. Handle means can be different for different sizes of hands and for different positioning of the pneumatic resister in relation to muscles.

The internal light can be steady, pulsatile, incandescent, fluorescent or other type of electrical light. The current source can be storable, chargeable and/or plug-in.

The platform is made in sections which are assembled for its use and disassembled for its storage and transport. The rotating sprinklers can wet not only roof tops but also nearby trees (13), shrubs (14) and areas for protection against flying sparks and burning particles. The rotating sprinklers are preferably a low-weight plastic type and the sprinkler legs are preferably four low-weight plastic members that intersect at a series connection for garden-hose water supply to one or more of the rotating sprinklers. The rotating sprinklers are saddled on a roof top with two of the sprinkler legs placed on each of two opposite roof slopes. Low weight of the rotating sprinklers allows them to be placed easily on roofs with access by ladder or structured to be positioned indefinitely.
