Patent number: 7501321Abstract: NAND flash memory cell array and fabrication process in which cells having memory gates and charge storage layers are densely packed, with the memory gates in adjacent cells either overlapping or self-aligned with each other. The memory cells are arranged in rows between bit line diffusions and a common source diffusion, with the charge storage layers positioned beneath the memory gates in the cells. The memory gates are either polysilicon or polycide, and the charge storage gates are either a nitride or the combination of nitride and oxide. Programming is done either by hot electron injection from silicon substrate to the charge storage gates to build up a negative charge in the charge storage gates or by hot hole injection from the silicon substrate to the charge storage gates to build up a positive charge in the charge storage gates. Erasure is done by channel tunneling from the charge storage gates to the silicon substrate or vice versa, depending on the programming method.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2006Date of Patent: March 10, 2009Assignee: Silicon Storage Technology, Inc.Inventors: Prateep Tuntasood, Der-Tsyr Fan, Chiou-Feng Chen

Patent number: 7400405Abstract: Highly portable, handheld instrument which can be pointed at the produce to be checked. Light from a source within the instrument is directed onto the produce to induce fluorescent emission from the produce, and fluorescent emissions from the produce are monitored with a detector within the instrument to detect the presence of pesticide residue on the produce. The light from the source is filtered to selectively pass light of a wavelength which induces maximum fluorescent emission from the pesticide to be detected, and the emissions from the produce are filtered to selectively pass emissions having a spectral content characteristic of the pesticide to be detected.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 2005Date of Patent: July 15, 2008Assignee: Bio-Chek LLCInventors: Darius Akbar Sadeghi, Herbert L. Patent number: 7384619Abstract: Water molecules, preferably in the form of steam or water vapor, are introduced into a plasma. The plasma causes the water molecules to dissociate into their constituent molecular elements of hydrogen and oxygen. To prevent recombining of the constituent molecular elements, the hydrogen and oxygen are separated from each other. Various devices may be employed to effect this separation. Once separated, the molecular components are prevented from recombining with each other or with other elements by using standard separation techniques normally employed for separating dissimilar gaseous species.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 2003Date of Patent: June 10, 2008Assignee: Bar-Gadda, LLCInventor: Ronny Bar-Gadda
