Abstract: The invention relates to a damper for a slip-controlled brake system of a vehicle. An elastic damper body is disposed in a damper chamber cut as a bore into a hydraulic housing block of the vehicle brake system. The elastic damper body includes an encompassing sealing edge that partitions the damper chamber into a chamber that can be acted upon by fluid and a residual volume. During pressurization, this damper body is elastically compressed or expanded. The advantages of the damper of the invention are a simple design, good damping properties and its ability to avoid the formation of cracks in its damper body.
Abstract: A fuel injection device for internal combustion engines, in which the control of the high-pressure delivery of the pump piston is achieved via a magnet valve disposed in a line between the pump work chamber and a fuel tank. To that end, the magnet valve has a valve member, actuated counter to the force of a valve spring by an electrical actuator and the valve member cooperates, by its sealing face with a valve seat and is pressure balanced via a cross-sectional constriction, which is disposed in a pressure chamber that communicates with the pump work chamber. In the event of a fracture of the valve member, in order to avoid blocking of the magnet valve when closed and an attendant uncontrolled, excessive fuel injection quantity, an axial bore is disposed inside the valve member, which bore feeds into a connecting line and on into the low-pressure chamber, and via which the high fuel pressure can drop after the valve member breaks.
Abstract: An active control precision damping table supported by air springs. Level displacement and vibrations of the table are detected by a sensor or sensors, and sensor outputs are fed to a variation adder which carries out an adding operation on one of the sensor outputs and an inversion signal produced by inverting the other sensor output 180 degrees. The adder outputs results of the operation to a drive circuit, which in turn outputs a drive signal to a control valve. The control valve is operable in response to the drive signal to adjust air pressure in pressure vessels of the air springs.
Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, having a plurality of in-line pump elements in which the supply onset is effected by means of control slides, one of which is axially displaceable on each of the pump pistons and by controlling relief conduits of the pump work chambers. The control slides are actuated via a torque shaft in that via driver tangs which are secured to the torque shaft by fastening parts screwed to the torque shaft, the control slides are axially displaced upon rotation of the torque shaft. For adjusting the stroke or axial position of the individual control slides to one another, spacer means, in particular shims are provided between the fastening part and the torque shaft in the stroke direction of the control slides.
