  • Patent number: 8347537
Abstract: A label tag cord made of plastic material is used as a connector between the label tag and the product, or as an independent identifier. The label tag cord includes a linearly extending and pliable cord body. First and second positioning parts are configured at opposite ends of the cord body. The preset area between the first and second positioning part form an extended block area having width and thickness larger than the cord diameter. The extended block area correspondingly defines a first surface or second surface, at least one of which forms an identifying surface. The extended surface can provide text and image layout. A display unit has a surface containing protruding or concaving parts or paste area. The text and image display unit can be a trademark, pattern, or image. The label tag cord can help to produce brand value, increase advertising effect, and enhance product value.

Abstract: A system for detecting and locating leaks includes a pipeline, strain sensors positioned on the external surface of the pipeline, acoustic pressure sensors positioned at intervals along the pipeline, local processors connected to the strain sensors and acoustic pressure sensors, and a central processor connected to the local processors. The strain sensors measure a strain on the external surface of the pipeline indicative of changes in the pressure of the fluid within the pipeline. The acoustic pressure sensors sense acoustic signals within the pipline. Sensed acoustic pressure signals and sensed strain measurements are compared to each other and to stored profiles to detect and locate leaks.

  • Patent number: 8336967
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of tapering bristles for toothbrushes and a toothbrush having bristles manufactured using the method. One method disclosed in the present invention includes setting bristles made of polyester in a head insert, and fastening the bristles to the head insert by thermally welding portions of the bristles, protruding from a back surface of the head insert, to the head insert. The method further includes coupling the head insert to a toothbrush body and tapering ends of the bristles by immersing the bristles in a chemical. The bristles can be securely set in the toothbrush body without an anchor. Furthermore, polyester bristles, which could not be set in toothbrushes having variously shaped setting rows due to excessively high stiffness, can be set in these types of toothbrush by the toothbrush manufacturing method of the present invention.

  • Patent number: 8319604
Abstract: An electric release fastening device for a thin-profile space has a fingerprint identifier, a micro drive motor, a change gear set, an electric controller, an electric battery, a moveable fastening cassette, a fastening cassette control unit and a locking locator. When the fingerprint identifier reads the correct identification information, the micro drive motor is ordered by the electric controller to drive the change gear set, and then change the position of the fastening cassette control unit. This switches the positioning or release state between the moveable fastening cassette and the locking locator, and controls or electrically releases the product cover. With this configuration, the electric release fastening device can be assembled into thin-profile spaces with improved applicability.

  • Patent number: 8318273
Abstract: A glassware structure with metal cladding for decorative effect having a main body and a metal cladding incorporated onto the surface of the main body by means of vacuum vapor deposition. The main body has an assembly portion and an acting portion. The metal cladding is distributed at least within the range of the acting portion. The tensile strength of the main body ranges between 120 and 200MPa (N/mm2), the thickness of the metal cladding between 0.1 and 1.0?m, and the coverage ratio between 95% and 100%. The metal cladding material is selected from zirconium nitride, nickel nitride, molybdenum nitride, titanium nitride, chromium nitride and silicon nitride. As the metal cladding and the main body can be securely fixed, the present invention can be used instead of metal castings and tubes. The glassware produces light transmittance effect, improving shape design flexibility, novelty and value of the glassware.
