Abstract: A front derailleur for shifting a bicycle chain between chain rings of a bicycle crank set. The front derailleur may include an attachment mechanism for securing the derailleur to a bicycle frame member. The front derailleur may further include a chain guide for enclosing a bicycle chain and contacting the chain during shifting. The front derailleur may further include a six link movement mechanism adjustably affixed to the attachment mechanism and chain guide for selectively moving the chain guide and enclosed bicycle chain during shifting.

Abstract: This invention creates a simple, low cost mechanical transfer switch (called Gen/Safe) which provides users the ability to connect nearly any portable household generator to supply whole house power (to the limit of the particular generator) in the event of an emergency outage. Installed by the utility in less than five minutes, the switch provides visual confirmation of utility isolation while still allowing user supplied power not only from emergency sources, but also allows PV, wind, and other on-site power to operate normally to supply the home directly without interruption when possible. This connection is also suitable as an ongoing utility connection for user generated alternate energy power systems while providing an additional utility safety isolation factor for alternate power sources which must shut down when utility power fails; (to protect repair personnel).
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include bicycle chain rings for bicycles having specially shaped ramps, tapers and profiled teeth for improved shifting performance. Additional embodiments of the bicycle chain rings of the present invention may be configured with one or more additional features formed within the chain rings including a transition slide, a tapered ramp face, a ramp bridge, a ramp lead, a trailing transition slide and a wear pin.
Abstract: The invention is a passive parabolic antenna system for use with conventional subscriber module radio antennas. The passive parabolic antenna system includes a microwave feed assembly that forms a resonant cavity coupling device for coupling to an internal patch antenna of a conventional subscriber module radio antenna. A method of boosting signal strength of a conventional subscriber module radio antenna and a wireless communication system are also disclosed.
Abstract: The invention is hollow structural members, a rail system based thereon and method of manufacturing such hollow structural members. Embodiments of the structural members may be hollow triangular prism-shaped with a cross-section that is triangular, isosceles, hexagonal or otherwise. Embodiments of rail systems based on hollow structural members are also disclosed. Embodiments of the rail systems disclosed herein may also include reaction assemblies for local dissipation of stresses due to thermal expansion of track materials.
