Abstract: A filtration system has a filter housing, a pollution filter, and a connection conduit. The filter housing has an inlet chamber having openings. The pollution filter is positioned within the filter housing adjacent the inlet chamber to cover the openings. The connection conduit connects the filter housing with a relief valve so that gasses vented from a hydrocarbon distribution system through the relief valve are directed into the inlet chamber and through the pollution filter, which removes pollutants from the gasses.
Abstract: A firearm support apparatus has a table element having legs for supporting the table element in a generally horizontal configuration, a forward cradle assembly mounted on a forward portion of the table element, and a rearward cradle assembly mounted on a rearward portion of the table element. The forward cradle assembly may comprise a mounting post, an adjustment plate mounted on the mounting collar and extending laterally therefrom, and a pair of adjustment collars mounted on the adjustment plate laterally spaced from one another. A lateral adjustment rod has ends engaged with the adjustment collars, and an externally threaded median portion threadedly engaged with an adjustment slide. A forward cradle is mounted on an adjustment slide for adjustable mounting a forward part of the rifle.
Abstract: A drive has a drive source connected with an automatic manual gearbox. A friction clutch is positioned between the drive source and the gearbox. The drive also has a differential, which with a gear wheel engages a first gear wheel on the gearbox output shaft, as well as a gear module to change the transmission in the gear without interrupting the drive. The gear module has a brake and a bypass transmission with three rotation bodies of which a first rotation body is connected to the first clutch part, a second rotation body is connected to a connecting gear wheel, which engages the first gear wheel, and the third rotation body is connected to the brake. The connections of the rotation bodies to the parts stated and respectively of the drive are made in this as splines.

Abstract: An internal combustion engine has at least one cylinder, and a means for varying the compression ratio in the cylinder. The at least one cylinder has two oppositely directed reciprocatingly movable pistons in it, which are each connected via a piston rod with a corresponding arm, whereby each arm shows an opening in which a main shaft that connects the two arms is rotatably supported in bearings. The main shaft includes an angle with a center line of each opening. The means for varying the compression ratio in the cylinder includes a division in the main shaft, as well as drive means in order to move the parts formed by it of the main shaft apart from each other.
Abstract: A glove has a glove body and a closure mechanism. The glove body has a palm portion and a back portion that together define an interior. A cuff perimeter defines an opening to the interior, and an access slit extends from the cuff perimeter to enable the opening to expand. The closure mechanism includes an inner layer adjacent the glove body that forms a band compartment having an exit slot. An elastic band is positioned within the band compartment, with a first end attached to the band compartment and a second end that extends out through the exit slot. A first fastener element is positioned on the second end of the elastic band, and a second fastener element adapted to removably engage the first fastener element is attached to the glove body on the opposite side of the access slit from the exit slot.
Abstract: A roof vent has a base member adapted to be mounted on a roof, and a cover member for excluding water. The base member has a generally planar base having an outer perimeter and an inner perimeter, the inner perimeter defining a vent aperture. A water barrier wall extends upwardly from the base around the vent aperture for excluding water. A ventilated dome extends from the water barrier wall at least partially over the vent aperture. Generally triangular wedges extending outwardly from the water barrier wall, shaped to direct water flow away from the water barrier wall. The cover member has a top cover element with a perimeter flange extending downwardly, and is adapted to be mounted over the base member.
Abstract: A drive has a drive source with an outgoing drive shaft, which can be connected via a clutch to a first input of a gear, which is formed by an input shaft. The gear also has an output, which is formed by an output shaft. The gear also has a second input, which is formed by a gear wheel of a first gear wheel pair concentrically present on the input shaft and which can be directly connected via a further clutch to the drive shaft. The drive also has a pre-reduction, which is formed by a planetary gear with three rotation bodies, one of which is connected to the input shaft, one to the drive shaft and one that can be connected via a clutch or brake to the fixed entities.

Abstract: A mechanically stabilized embankment system has a connection element adapted for engaging a wall facing element. An elongate soil reinforcement element is adapted to be attached to the connection element and positioned in earthen embankment. A plurality of semi-extensible bent segments are integrally formed by and spaced on a middle portion of the elongate soil reinforcement element such that each semi-extensible bent segment extends laterally from an axis of the elongate soil reinforcement element, but can be pulled straight upon the application of excessive force that might otherwise break the elongate soil reinforcement element.
