Abstract: An essentially planar electrowinning anode made of infiltrated sintered metal, e.g. lead infiltrated sintered titanium having longitudinally extending bars of lead metallurgically bonded to and shielded by the infiltrated metal. Advantageously the anode is made up of at least two strips of lead infiltrated, sintered titanium with a lead bar bridging the junction of the strips.
Abstract: A photoelectrochemical system comprising an n-type photoelectrode, means associated with said photoelectrode for storing charges produced at the interface of the photoelectrode and an electrolyte and a hydrogen storage electrode in contact with a hydrogen-containing electrolyte.

Abstract: A process for chemical vapor deposition of ruthenium on heat resistant substrates employing ruthenium 1, 3 dione compounds as volatile sources and causing the volatile material to impact on a heated receiving substrate in random fashion in a quiescent, low-pressure atmosphere.
Abstract: Discloses a hydridable compound of the general formula MNi.sub.x-y Fe.sub.y, where M is mischmetal, x is a number between 4.5 and 5.5 and y is a number between about 0.1 and 1.3.
Abstract: An electrode for water electrolyzers comprising a steel base having a sintered porous layer of nickel, nickel-iron or iron on the steel base and having an electrochemically formed oxidic layer or hydrogen saturation associated with the sintered layer.
Abstract: A circuit for a home safety unit having an emergency light system for providing light in the event of a power failure or when a fire is detected, and a fire detection system for providing an audible alarm indicating the existence of a fire. The circuit includes a battery which is constantly being charged and a low voltage responsive system for indicating a low voltage condition on the battery. A latching system causes the emergency light to be turned off when this low voltage condition is reached, and to remain off until the battery is recharged.
Abstract: A hydrogen-storage vessel having particles of hydrideable alloy in a multiplicity of closed containers permeable to hydrogen within the vessel to prevent localized pressure effects acting against the walls of the vessel.
Abstract: An improvement in the process of flotation of sulfide minerals from basic gangue involving employing in association with a collector an alkylamidohydroxylated quaternary amine salt.
