    Abstract: A cell broadcasting service system includes: a terminal for generating a short message service (SMS) type message and a cell broadcasting service (CBS) type message; an SMS center for transmitting a CBS type message to a CB center when receiving the CBS type message from the terminal; and a CB center for broadcasting a received message to a corresponding range area by referring to broadcast range information of the message when receiving the message from the SMS center. By assigning a CB ID to a specific subscriber group (a small circles or a local group), a general subscriber can broadcast a short message in the position of the CB entity. In addition, various get-together information and local information can be easily provided to subscribers of a group located within a broadcast range, and more efficient and substantial information can be provided at a low cost.

    Abstract: In the DSCH power control method for mobile communication system according to the present invention, the cell transmitting DSCH receives a signal from an UE, determines whether a cell transmitting DSCH to be set as primary or non-primary based on the received signal, and controls DSCH transmit power according to a result of the determination. The cell decreases DSCH transmit power when the cell is set as primary and increases DSCH transmit power when the cell is set as non-primary. In the DSCH transmit power control method of the present invention the cell transmitting DSCH sets its state as non-primary when the received signal quality is bad, such that it is possible to prevent the cell transmitting the DSCH from reducing the DSCH transmit power even when the received signal quality is bad, unlike in the typical SSDT.

Since the change of the reference voltage is always under control in the power mode switching, the burst noise occurrence due to the sudden reference voltage change in the transmission power can be restrained, and increased battery use time can be achieved by using a low reference voltage in the low power mode.
