    Abstract: A seal agent D and liquid crystal C are clamped to a lower substrate 6, a pair of the lower substrate 7 and an upper substrate 7 are laminated with the seal agent D and the liquid crystal C interposed therebetween, and at least one of the pair of substrates is a roll-shaped long flexible resin film. When the substrates are laminated, the lower substrate 6 on one hand is aligned to the upper substrate 7 on the other hand in every arbitrary length. With this arrangement, productivity can be improved as well as a positional dislocation due to accumulation of positioning errors can be prevented.

    Abstract: When dishes are held by means of a robot hand (10), its fixed side engaging plate (13) and movable side engaging finger (14) are moved under horizontal state toward a dish (20) to be handled, and the outer circumferential edge side portion of the dish (20) is inserted between them. The distal end portion (14b) of the movable side engaging finger (14) is then bent by a predetermined amount to the side of the dish (20) and the robot hand (10) is raised. Consequently, the dish (20) is brought into a state where it is held by its own weight between the fixed side engaging plate (13) and the movable side engaging finger (14). Thereafter, the right and left first finger units (15, 16) are bent to the side of the dish (20) and the dish (20) is pushed by their dish pushing faces (15g, 16g), thus bringing about such a state as the dish (20) is held surely between the fixed side engaging plate (13) and the movable side engaging finger (14).

    Abstract: A retainer of a crossed roller bearing has a retainer body plate of rectangular profile corresponding to a rectangular cross-section of a race. Rectangular side surfaces on either side of the retainer body plate are inclined planes that slant in a direction of approaching one another from one corner to another corner along a diagonal line of the surfaces, and extend towards a bearing center in a state of having been installed in the race. Recesses for accumulating grease are formed in center portions of the rectangular side surfaces, the recesses communicating via a through-hole. The rectangular side surfaces are in linear contact with the circular external circumferential surfaces of adjacent rollers and hold the rollers at a fixed spacing. There is obtained a retainer for an uncomplicatedly configured crossed roller bearing that allows adjacent rollers to be held at a fixed spacing and is provided with a grease accumulator.

There is a spacing between the opposite material projections, the spacing being varied at regular intervals, as a result of which local cavities are formed.

A wrapping arrangement is provided with wiping blades so that upward movement of the wiping arrangement causes a first wiping blade to engage the edge flap and wipe it upwardly into engagement with an edge face, following which the wiping arrangement moves the second blade over the workpiece so that a second wiping blade engages the end part of the flap and wipes it downwardly into engagement with the back face of the workpiece.
