Abstract: A system, method, and computer usable medium for computing device power management. The method includes identifying a correlation between active states of a computing device and active states of a connected device connected to the computing device through a network, the correlation indicating the desirability of the computing device being active; and providing an active state in the computing device based on the identified correlation. Providing an active state in the computing device based on the identified correlation may include preventing the computing device from entering a power-saving mode based on the identified correlation or waking the computing device.

Abstract: A method and system for controlling use of a communication device in a vehicle is provided. The system includes a plurality of internal vehicle sensors, the vehicle sensors adapted to provide internal information. A receiver is provided adapted to receive external information from an external source and a controller is provided adapted to receive the internal information and the external information. The controller is adapted to assign a risk value to each of the internal and external information and compare the assigned risk values to a predetermined risk threshold and is adapted to disable the communication device when any of the risk values exceeds the predetermined risk threshold.

Abstract: A speaker-phone assembly includes a speaker assembly, a microphone and an outer shell. The speaker assembly includes an upper lid, a bottom cup, and a speaker. A gasket may be positioned between the lid and cup, a C-shaped gasket may be positioned around the rim of the speaker to isolate the speaker from the lid. A plurality of brackets including gaskets extend from the cup and are received by posts extending from an interior portion of the outer shell to isolate the speaker assembly from the outer shell. A microphone stand having an inner region connected to an outer region by at least one web portion isolates the microphone. The microphone is positioned upright and in a plane substantially perpendicular to a plane which includes a rim of the speaker.
