Abstract: A portable cart for carrying luggage comprises a central section, a handle section detachably connected to a rear portion of the central section, two side sections pivotally connected to the central section respectively and having at least one wheel rotationally connected to a rear portion of the side section, and a device for holding the side sections horizontally so that the upper portions of the side section and the central section are substantially located on the same plane. When the holding device is released, the side sections can rotate relative to the central section so that the side sections are substantially oriented perpendicular to the central section and parallel to each other. The handle section is formed of a plurality of elongated rods telescopically connected to each other so that when the handle section is used, the rods are extended upwardly from the central section to orient in order from a rod having largest diameter to a rod having a smallest diameter.
Abstract: According to the method of this invention for fixation of incinerator ash, incinerator ash containing SiO.sub.2 and Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 is incorporated with NaOH or NaOH and an SiO.sub.2 -containing substance in such an amount that the resulting mixture contains 25 to 90 wt % of SiO.sub.2, 2 to 10 wt % of Na.sub.2 O, and more than 3 wt % of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 which is less than the content of SiO.sub.2 in terms of mol %; 100 parts by weight of the mixture is mixed with more than 5 parts by weight of water; and the resulting mixture is subjected to hydrothermal reaction under a pressure of 70 kg/cm.sup.2 or above and at a temperature of 150.degree. C. and above, whereby the fixation is accomplished.
Abstract: A wet spray booth treating agent, characterized by containing melamine-aldehyde acid colloid solution and a method for the treatment of a wet spray booth, characterized by the use of the aforementioned treating agent.
Abstract: A steel laminate gasket comprises a plurality of thin steel plates to be stacked one after another, and devices for identifying the position of the steel plates formed on the steel plates where no sealing ability is affected. When the steel plates are stacked in the proper order, the devices form a stepped portion with different height relative to a predetermined horizontal plane of the gasket. Consequently, a user can notice the proper order of assembly of the gasket.
Abstract: Sustained release antimicrobial agents comprising a clathrate compound composed of a water-soluble antimicrobial agent, and 1,1,6,6-tetraphenyl-2,4-hexadiyne-1,6-diol or 1,1-di(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-2-propyne-1-ol, and methods of fouling control using the same.
Abstract: A dielectric powder consisting of a solid solution of compounds selected at least one each from the two group (a) and (b) of compounds indicated below and having a chemical composition represented by the following general formula:[ABO.sub.3 ].sub.1-x [A'(B'.sub.1-y B".sub.Y)O.sub.3 ].sub.x (I)(Wherein x and y satisfy 0<x<1 and 0<y<1 respectively), is produced by mixing metal alkoxides in proportions such that the proportions of the metallic elements thereof conform to the proportions of the metallic elements in the aforementioned general formula (I) and hydrolyzing the metal alkoxides contained in the resultant mixture:(a) Compounds of the ABO.sub.3 type perovskite structure and(b) Compounds of the A'(B'.sub.1/2 B".sub.1/2)O.sub.3, A'(B'.sub.1/3 B".sub.2/3)O.sub.3, or A'(B'.sub.2/3 B".sub.1/3)O.sub.

Abstract: A multi-item data input apparatus is disclosed whereby an operator can designate one of a plurality of items by actuation of a key, thereby generating a signal indicative of that item. The items are visibly printed or written on a number of item information sheets, each of which is enclosed between a transparent cover sheet and a base sheet each of which is flexible, with the sheets being rolled around a cylindrical holder in a successively overlapping manner. Means are provided whereby a sheet set, comprising an item information sheet with cover sheet and base sheet, can be selectively unrolled and positioned below a keyboard having transparent keys, to allow designation of items on that item information sheet. The item information sheets can be rapidly and conveniently removed, for exchange of sheets or for modification of item information.
