  • Patent number: 7024703
Abstract: A male undergarment providing a comfort barrier between the groin and outer wear with enhancements for promoting male fertility. By use of less restrictive (and confining) garment adjuncts to the conventional undergarment, an environment for genitalia, primarily the testes, is acquired that will reduce the level of body heat accumulating in the zone proximate those organs. Elements are used that will reduce the normal temperatures within that zone by: compartmentally segregating the penis from the scrotum and the latter from the loins; insulating (by suitable fabric) between the segregated organs and groin regions; and, venting the independent, scrotal compartment. Contrary to the modern norm, the genitalia are allowed to assume a more natural, pendulous suspension, one more conducive to the viability of spermatozoa.

  • Patent number: 6988644
Abstract: A baby carrier, useful generally in water environments and featuring an integrated harness-seat-headrest. The carrier is constructed unitarily of a water-proof, flexible fabric, which is, at least in the seat portion, water-permeable, in order to rapidly drain water away from the baby. The harness portion features a main pair of straps adapted to fit over the shoulders, of the carrier bearer, and descend over the bearer's back and chest to join and communicate with the seat. The strap pair is connected by a yoke or at least one transverse strap that restrains either main strap from slipping from the bearer's shoulders; and, absent such, is otherwise restrained in crisscross relationship over the bearer's back. The headrest may be positioned and fixed in a functional posture, or folded down.

  • Patent number: 6786028
Abstract: Lightweight, insect-barrier garments of reflective/illuminative, moisture wicking or otherwise breathable covering for protection of a quadruped animal. An ensemble of from one to three garment sections is provided to cover portions of the animal's body that are susceptible to harassment by biting or stinging insects. Illuminative character is present in the invention in modes and at locations that attain the highest profile of visibility, in respect of ambient visibility and the task to which the animal is placed, e.g. daylight/dusk, under saddle, hunting, turnout, etc. A bonnet section of the ensemble, with the neck section, is fashioned to stand away from the animal's eyes, thereby protecting its sight by providing a protective insect-resistive guard or debris barrier.

  • Patent number: 6502629
Abstract: Algorithmically linked (“ganged”), multiple air conditioners in a paint booth temperature control system effecting a continuous running of at least one conditioner during an operational demand phase, or cycle, of the booth. All of the air conditioners have an independent temperature sensor that is placed at a discrete location in the air stream so that between the sensor physical placements there is effectively established a differential that is applied by the automatic control system to maintain a comfortable difference between the booth coolest and warmest work environments.

  • Patent number: 5958394
Abstract: A shaving preparation aid with ingredients for lubricating the skin, extending razor edge life and post-shave skin conditioning. A basic water-alcohol mix is further combined with an edible, dietary or otherwise soluble or wetable mucilate, preferably psyllium fiber, to realize, in this fundamental form, a combination sufficient to achieve the aforesaid properties. Other substances are disclosed such as polyether(s), vitamin E (tocopherol), glycerol, lecithin and perfumes that, in combination with the basics, serve to promote one property over the others or add more aesthetic character to the invention. The compositiors are applied to the skin as both pre- and post-shave conditioners, as well as to the blade edge for preservation.

  • Patent number: 5921326
Abstract: Plow windrow interruption by use of a folding auxiliary blade that is designed to overlay a portion of the plow main blade. The auxiliary blade is motivated to fold vertically pleatwise and, by alternating projection of the folded auxiliary forward of the trailing edge of the main blade, and a return to the overlying posture, respectively stop and reestablish the debris windrow.

  • Patent number: 5845979
Abstract: A structual support-or joist-suspendable storage case. An open-top box unit is suspended for pivotal motion and fixation between rafters, joists, etc. The suspension and movement mechanism includes hooks and, optionally, detents (or studs). In the preferred embodiment, only identical hooks are used in braces or pair-assemblies, one of each pair mounted to a side of the box unit, and its complement fixed to a structural element in a position best suited to receive the box-mounted device. Two or more of the assemblies are featured per unit. Alternatively, the assemblies may consist of a hook and studded hook combination where either hook or studded hook is placed on the box and its complement is fixed to a structural element.

  • Patent number: 5649751
Abstract: A structural member-supported storage box. An open-top case projects at least two rod-engaging hooks so as to effect a constrainable pendulous or cantilevered fixation. Rods engagable by the hooks are fixed as orthogonal transversals to a pair of adjacent ceiling joists, wall studs or similar beams. The hooks of the invention, by engagement of the rods, cause the box to be nested between the paired joists, studs or beams. The books are movably fixed to the box in a number of arrangements to be complemented by the rod emplacement.
