    Abstract: A pack of heat transfer plates for regenerative heat exchangers comprising superimposed profiled plates. Each plate is provided with spaced parallel double ridges protruding symmetrically from both sides of the plate and extending obliquely relatively to the general direction of the fluid flow through the pack. The plates are disposed such that the ridges of one plate lie transverse to the ridges of adjacent plates so that the plates are in contact with each other solely at points spaced along the crests of the ridges.
