Abstract: A sequence of K voltage samples of a transmitted data signal is generated by sampling, digitizing, and storing voltage samples of the data signal with an imbedded sample clock on an IC having an unknown period TS. The K voltage samples are plotted against a time base of K sequential times TB[K] normalized so all samples fall within one cycle of the data clock used to generate the data signal or a unit time of 1. The time base is generated by estimating the sample clock period TSE to be some multiple of 1/P where P is greater than K. Eye diagrams are analyzed for time jitter wherein only the minimum value of jitter is saved. TSE is incremented by 1/P until TS is greater than one half the data clock period. The eye diagram at the TSE with the minimum time jitter is used to analyze the data channels.

Abstract: A process for generating SQL queries to retrieve requested information from a database, whilst applying requested search filters, involving defining a “base” query, which is the simplest SQL query that can be executed to retrieve the information requested by the user (i.e. without applying any search filter), and then use a separate module for each search filter to detect the existence of the table that is required to apply that filter, and possibly add a “WHERE” condition that includes the required table using a sub-query. For each module, if the table required to filter a particular attribute exists in the current query, the “WHERE” condition is added on that table, without adding any sub-query. If on the other hand the required table does not exist in the current query, a sub-query that navigates associations from the tables involved in the current query to the required on is added, and the “WHERE” condition is added to the required table within the sub-query.

Abstract: A method, a system and a computer program for changing an encryption key of data encrypted by a first key and stored on an archive server (40), wherein a conversion is applied to the data, generating recrypted data decryptable by means of a second key, the conversion being generated on a second server (30) and associated with the first key and the second key via a functional operation and transferred from the second server (30) to the archive server (40) via a transfer channel (38).

Abstract: A method and system for generating efficient versioned codes for single instruction multiple data units whose memory systems have alignment constraints. The system creates multiple versions of codes based on relative alignments of the data streams involved in the computation. The system also analyzes characteristics of relative alignments (e.g. compile-time or runtime) to determine whether code versioning is beneficial based on a cost model.

Abstract: The invention proposes a solution allowing a web application to generate a response page based on local information of a client. For this purpose, a front-end servlet (receiving a request from the browser of the client) verifies (318, 360) whether the local information is available on the server. If not, a wait page with a command for uploading the local information is generated and sent (321) to the client, so as to cause the client to transmit (327-342) the local information to a back-end servlet of the server. The wait page self-refreshes (348-357) after a predefined delay; in response thereto, the same front-end servlet verifies whether the local information is ready to use. If the uploading is still in progress, a wait page without the upload command (which self-refreshes after the same delay) is generated and sent (363) again. Once the uploading has been completed, the front-end servlet can generate and send (366-372) the desired response page based on the up-to-date local information of the client.

Abstract: A circuit and method of correcting the duty cycle of digital signals is disclosed. The duty cycle of an input digital signal is measured and compared to a desired duty cycle. The leading edge of the input digital signal is passed to an output. The circuit and method adjust the falling edges at the output to achieve the desired duty cycle. The falling edges occur in response to rising edges of a delayed version of the input digital signal.
