  • Patent number: 6866545
Abstract: An electrical cordset for connecting a sensor connector used with a piston position sensor located within a high pressure environment and a control system. The cordset is an electrical conductor having a standard industry connector to connect to the sensor connector and includes a casing intermediate the ends of the cordset to contain and seal therein signal conditioning circuitry to condition signals passing through the electrical conductor. The signal conditioning circuitry includes a circuitboard and a potting compound fills the casing and seals the signal conditioning circuitry fully within the casing to protect the circuitry from the hostile external environment and affix the electrical conductor to the casing. The affixation of the casing to the electrical conductor is further accomplished by use of grommets that are sealed to the electrical conductor and interfit within openings in the casing.

  • Patent number: 6838431
Abstract: The invention relates to a nutritional intervention composition in powder form that is taken before a meal and that extends post meal satiety. The compositions of the invention are comprised of at least one protein, C12-18 fatty acids, preferably oleic acid, all of which stimulate CCK release in the body, and a source of proteinase inhibitor which acts to prevent the deactivation of CCK. The subject compositions preferably additionally contain a source of calcium and are advantageous in that they utilize a source of proteinase inhibitor as opposed to the more costly extracts. The source of proteinase inhibitor is advantageously an extract of potato, soy, or beans containing about 10 weight percent of proteinase inhibitor. The powder compositions are mixed with a suitable liquid, preferably water, prior to ingestion.

  • Patent number: 6834588
Abstract: A flexographic rotary platen printing press for printing indicia on a web of flexible material moving along a longitudinal axis. The flexographic rotary platen printing press includes a print drum assembly that is affixed to a trolley that is moveable in a linear direction across the web generally transverse to the direction of the web movement. When the web is stopped, the print drum is caused to roll across the web that is sandwiched between the print drum and a flat, planar platen to print indicia onto the web in a line contact. A linear drive system causes the movement of the print drum assembly. The speed of the transverse movement is electronically coordinated to the speed of the rotation of the print drum as it moves across the web to carry out the printing operation.

  • Patent number: 6818027
Abstract: An organically clean biomass fuel formed of mixture of a powder, which may be either dried, cellulosic product, wood charcoal powder, and/or a combination of the two, and a fluid, which may be vegetable oil, vegetable alcohol or a combination of the two. A centrifugal machine dries moist, cellulosic product and extracts black liquor. A grinder transforms the dried, cellulosic product into powder. Gum may be extracted from the vegetable oil or vegetable alcohol. A batch mixer or vibrating vessel mixes the powder and the fluid together; the fluid moisturizes the powder. Depending upon the relative amount of the fluid as compared to powder, the mixture will either be in a liquid cream state or a doughy state. If the latter, the mixture may be pressed into briquettes or ingots.
