Abstract: An electrical cordset for connecting a sensor connector used with a piston position sensor located within a high pressure environment and a control system. The cordset is an electrical conductor having a standard industry connector to connect to the sensor connector and includes a casing intermediate the ends of the cordset to contain and seal therein signal conditioning circuitry to condition signals passing through the electrical conductor. The signal conditioning circuitry includes a circuitboard and a potting compound fills the casing and seals the signal conditioning circuitry fully within the casing to protect the circuitry from the hostile external environment and affix the electrical conductor to the casing. The affixation of the casing to the electrical conductor is further accomplished by use of grommets that are sealed to the electrical conductor and interfit within openings in the casing.
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel Aerothricins represented by the Formula (I), and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The present invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising an Aerothricin of the Formula (I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Abstract: The invention relates to a nutritional intervention composition in powder form that is taken before a meal and that extends post meal satiety. The compositions of the invention are comprised of at least one protein, C12-18 fatty acids, preferably oleic acid, all of which stimulate CCK release in the body, and a source of proteinase inhibitor which acts to prevent the deactivation of CCK. The subject compositions preferably additionally contain a source of calcium and are advantageous in that they utilize a source of proteinase inhibitor as opposed to the more costly extracts. The source of proteinase inhibitor is advantageously an extract of potato, soy, or beans containing about 10 weight percent of proteinase inhibitor. The powder compositions are mixed with a suitable liquid, preferably water, prior to ingestion.
Abstract: A flexographic rotary platen printing press for printing indicia on a web of flexible material moving along a longitudinal axis. The flexographic rotary platen printing press includes a print drum assembly that is affixed to a trolley that is moveable in a linear direction across the web generally transverse to the direction of the web movement. When the web is stopped, the print drum is caused to roll across the web that is sandwiched between the print drum and a flat, planar platen to print indicia onto the web in a line contact. A linear drive system causes the movement of the print drum assembly. The speed of the transverse movement is electronically coordinated to the speed of the rotation of the print drum as it moves across the web to carry out the printing operation.

Abstract: The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing fenofibrate in the form of an inclusion complex with cyclodextrin, having high dissolution profile and in vivo enhanced bioavailability as compared with plain micronized fenofibrate compositions. An inclusion complex has a molar ratio of fenofibrate (preferably in micronized form) to cyclodextrin of from about 1:0.5 to about 1:4, preferably from about 1:1 to about 1:2. The immediate release fenofibrate composition is preferably in the form of a tablet or in the form of granules inside a capsule.
Abstract: Reagents and the use of the reagents in a microparticle light scattering agglutination assay are disclosed. The reagents comprise a mixture of particles having relatively stronger light scattering properties and particles having relatively weak light scattering properties with respect to one another. The particles having strong light scattering properties carry a binding partner of high reactivity with the analyte. The particles having weak light scattering properties carry a binding partner of low reactivity with the analyte.

Abstract: Encapsulation of an inner facing surface of a lead shield of a radiopharmaceutical pig. The inner facing surface defines a chamber in which is inserted a radiopharmaceutical syringe. The encapsulation protects the inner facing surface against contamination due to leaks of the contents of the radiopharmaceutical syringe and further obviates the need for a sharps container to enclose the syringe during transport.
Abstract: A composite material panel having alternating layers of wood veneer with recycled or waste material. The layers are sandwiched together. The technique involves forming the composite material layer by layer and employing materials in each layer that are suited to satisfy requirements for specific kinds of construction. The layer of recycled or waste material is preferably flexible and has memory. Some examples include plastic straw, bars from plastic, tires or metal, balls from plastic or tires, sheet from plastic, tires or metal, air bubble cushioning from plastic. The metal is exemplified by aluminum and tin.
Abstract: The invention relates to substituted 5-benzyl-2,4-diaminopyrimidines of general formula (A)
wherein R1 is C2-C3 alkyl an R2 is heterocyclyl, phenyl or naphthyl, bonded by one of its C-atoms and R3 is C2-C6 alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, heterocyclylalkyl, alkylsulfonyl, cycloalkylsulfonyl, cycloalkylalkylsulfamoyl, heterocyclysylfonyl, heterocyclylalkylsulfonyl or dialkylsulfamoyl; wherein alkyl, cycloalkyl and alyenyl can carry up to 6 carbon atoms alone or in compositions and can carry up to 6 ring members heterocyclically, alone, or in compositions and the groups R2 and R3 can be substituted; and to acid addition salts of compounds. The invention also relates to a method for producing the above 5-benzyl-2,4-diaminopyrimidines, to the intermediate. products that are produced, to corresponding medicaments and to the use of 5-benzyl-2,4-diaminopyrimidines as medicinal preparations.

Abstract: The invention concerns a device (10) for measuring exchanges of amounts of heat in non-stationary operational conditions, including an elongated housing (11) having one measuring end (12) closed and one connecting end (13) and a central cavity (14). The central cavity (14) contains a measuring cell (15) and electrical connection members (13). The housing (11) is extended by a hollow finger (17) which contains partly at least the measuring cell (15) which consists of a sensitive heat flux measuring element (18) sandwiched between a first heat conducting component (19) and a second heat conducting component (20). The first heat conducting component (19) is in contact with at the least one surface of the said housing (11), and in the second heat conducting component (20) is insulated from the housing and constitutes a constant heat capacity.
Abstract: An organically clean biomass fuel formed of mixture of a powder, which may be either dried, cellulosic product, wood charcoal powder, and/or a combination of the two, and a fluid, which may be vegetable oil, vegetable alcohol or a combination of the two. A centrifugal machine dries moist, cellulosic product and extracts black liquor. A grinder transforms the dried, cellulosic product into powder. Gum may be extracted from the vegetable oil or vegetable alcohol. A batch mixer or vibrating vessel mixes the powder and the fluid together; the fluid moisturizes the powder. Depending upon the relative amount of the fluid as compared to powder, the mixture will either be in a liquid cream state or a doughy state. If the latter, the mixture may be pressed into briquettes or ingots.
Abstract: A process for preparing racemic mixtures containing nearly equal amounts of stereo isomers of compounds of formula (I), or their salts, by heating an enantiomerically enriched material with thionyl chloride.
A required useful enantiomer may thereby be recovered from unwanted mother liquors that would otherwise be otherwise be discarded.
Abstract: A plant and a method for carrying out orderly arrangement of products in ranks along a packaging line, wherein an alignment device is set between a first conveyor belt and a second conveyor belt. The products arrive on the first belt in ranks with substantially disorderly transverse alignment and with longitudinal distances that may vary between the said ranks, and are accelerated to obtain, on the second belt, ranks aligned in an orderly way and properly spaced from one another.
