  • Patent number: 4755969
Abstract: Circuits for generating sequences of pseudo random binary digits wherein the circuit can be easily programmed to change the sequence. The sequences are obtained by modulo-2 addition of digits retrieved from storage in Random Access Memories (RAMs). Two or more Read counters identify separate addresses in the RAMs from which the digits are retrieved. A Write counter points into an address in all of the RAMs where each current sequence bit is stored as it is formed at the output of an Exclusive-Or gate which performs the modulo-2 addition. Each of the Read counters lags the Write counter by a different and programmable amount and these lags determine which sequence is generated.

  • Patent number: 4602664
Abstract: Flat pieces of netting material are placed on the ground to catch leaves as they fall from nearby trees. When the leaves have fallen the net blanket is bundled up into a net package for disposal. The packages may or may not require a bag closure. A novel net bag closure for such packages is also disclosed. The bag closure also forms a handle for carrying the bundled leaf package. The net blankets may also be hung from trees to catch the leaves thereof before they reach the ground. The netting may be folded and then rolled onto a hollow tube for merchandising, with accessories contained in the hollow tube.

  • Patent number: 4516001
Abstract: A replacement electrical brush for an auto horn circuit in which a metal rod has an enlarged head which rides on a slip ring on the underside of the auto's steering wheel. When the original brush head comprising the enlarged head becomes worn and inoperative the replacement brush head of the present invention is slipped over the worn brush head to provide a replacement. The replacement brush head can be a simple metal cap. The invention eliminates the necessity of removing and replacing the entire metal rod.

  • Patent number: 4405049
Abstract: A medicinal capsule inspection device in which the capsules are arrayed end to end between adjacent rotating rollers and visually inspected as they are rotated by the rollers. The rollers are supported by and roll around a pair of circular ledges comprising the smaller diameters of a pair of parallel, concentric flanged discs. The rollers are driven around the ledges by projections on a pair of rotating discs which are synchronously driven from a common source. A feed chute, discharge outlet, an air ejection system and a light source are provided to facilitate the operation of the device and to facilitate the detection of faulty capsules.

  • Patent number: 4353349
Abstract: The damper is a hollow sheet metal duct-like device of generally rectangular cross section, and is adapted to fit over the combustion air intake of a furnace blower so that the furnace must obtain its combustion air through said damper. A trap door type valve in the lower surface of device automatically opens in response to the suction of the blower to admit combustion air, and automatically closes due to gravity when said blower is de-energized, to cut off the air supply to the furnace combustion chamber when the furnace is not operating.
