Abstract: A container comprising an absorbent sheet and methods for manufacturing the container are disclosed. The absorbent sheet is attached to the upper part of the container inside in a manner that is readily detachable when needed to clean a contamination or a spill. The absorbent sheet may cover one side to as many as all four sides of the container, have one or more plies, form a continuous sheet or cover any one side as individual sheets, and contain perforations to reduce the likelihood of tearing the sheet upon removal. A method for affixing the absorbent sheet to the container comprises spraying adhesive onto designated areas on the base container sheet and affixing absorbent sheets to the areas containing the adhesive prior to folding the container. In another embodiment, the method comprises spraying the adhesive and affixing the absorbent sheet after the container is folded.
Abstract: A device for signaling to an ice fisherman that a fish has taken the bait and a method for utilizing the device are disclosed. The device comprises a trigger pivotally attached to a housing. The trigger is balanced horizontally by a fishing line containing a loop adapted for looping and draping over one end of the trigger and one or more balancing and counterbalancing weights. The tugging of a fish taking the bait on the fishing line pulls the line off the trigger which allows the trigger to tip vertically signaling to the fisherman to take action to raise the fishing line.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for facilitating and maintaining the cleanliness of a self cleaning cat litter box. The device is a structure that contains two plastic strips attached to a tape and attaches to an interface junction located at the top of a litter box container ramp. The device facilitates and guides the waste as it is moved from the litter box into a waste receptacle insert by rake tines and prevents contamination of areas along the path of the moving waste.
Abstract: A camouflage and support assembly for a cross bow is disclosed. The assembly is comprised of a camouflage having an opening for shooting the arrow through while the hunter is hidden from view, and a clamp for affixing the crossbow stirrup onto the camouflage. The assembly also comprises a support rod for resting the cross bow. This assembly provides a comfortable stance for the hunter to wait for an animal to appear into view, while also allowing the hunter to move the crossbow along with the camouflage as needed to maintain focus on a potential moving target.
Abstract: A lighting system that is controlled and operated by the cymbal player of a musical band is disclosed. A limiting switch actuator arm is mounted in a predetermined proximity to the underside of the cymbals such that striking the cymbal moves the actuator arm a sufficient distance to momentarily close an electrical circuit to which a light is connected and produce the flash-lighting effect. The actuator arm is encased in a plastic sleeve and has a sleeve tip and a bead attached at the cymbal contact end. The plastic sleeve, sleeve tip and bead protect against the risk of an electric shock, help protect the actuating arm against mechanical damage and help dissipate vibrations.
