  • Patent number: 6442452
Abstract: Switching operations in a switchgear assembly, in particular a medium-voltage switchgear assembly, are carried out via a control apparatus. The control apparatus has an electronic memory card for variable storage of control data which automatically initiate the switching operation or each switching operation. The control process then takes place exclusively via the memory card. The memory card is inserted into a card reader in the switchgear assembly. After this, an automatic sequence of the desired switching operations takes place using a switching program stored in advance in the memory card.

  • Patent number: 6427601
Abstract: The installation conveys persons from a valley station to a mountain station and for carries individuals from the mountain station to the valley station via carriages that are guided along a track formed by a running rail. The installation has a cableway system with a haulage cable and transport assemblies that can be coupled thereto and are intended for persons and for conveying devices that convey the carriages from the valley station to the mountain station. The haulage cable is guided over cable-deflecting pulleys in the valley station and in the mountain station. Guide rails are provided in the valley station and in the mountain station along which the conveying devices and transport assemblies, uncoupled from the haulage cable, are guided around the cable-deflecting pulleys with conveying wheels. Bypass rails are connected to the guide rails via diverters both in the valley station and in the mountain station.

  • Patent number: 6427990
Abstract: A spring configuration of an individual-segment underspring configuration for furniture including a mattress. The spring configuration is formed of individual spring elements, each containing a supporting plate; a baseplate; a latch holder having latches; and at least one spring body connected between the supporting plate and the baseplate. The spring body has a first center, a second center spaced apart from the first center, a central axis, and cushioning arms disposed in one of a straight plane and a curved plane and extending radially outward in one of a straight manner and a curved manner from the first center and the central axis. The cushioning arms have outer ends with latching devices in a region of the second center, and, in each case in a state in which the cushioning arms are bent over in a manner of a basket in one direction toward the central axis and the second center, the latching devices of the cushioning arms engaging in and securing to the latches of the latch holder.

  • Patent number: 6409140
Abstract: A frame hanging tool has an elongated body member formed with a plurality of openings. Each of the plurality of openings has an opening edge and a recessed border formed at least partly around the opening edge. The inserts have an overhanging edge that has a shape corresponding with the recessed border for removably fastening the inserts to the body member within the openings. The recessed border can have a protrusion and the overhanging edge can have a recess, or vice-versa, the recess aligned with and corresponding to the protrusion. The protrusion and the recess can be curved or linear in shape. A shape of the recessed border can correspond with or be slightly smaller than a shape of the overhanging edge. The overhanging edge can have a tapered corner for easier insertability. The inserts are each configured to receive and guide fasteners such as nails and screws.

  • Patent number: 6406933
Abstract: Etching openings are provided in a membrane above an etched-out cavity, only at a distance of at most one tenth of the diameter of the member away from the edge of the cavity. For production, a poly layer is applied to a sacrificial layer composed of SiO2 and is provided with rows of etching holes, through which channels are etched out in the sacrificial layer. The poly layer is oxidized and is made smooth by means of a planarization layer. Etching holes are produced in the edge region of the membrane layer. The sacrificial layer is removed over the entire area of the cavity which is to be produced, with the etching medium propagating sufficiently quickly through the channels.
