  • Patent number: 6088681
Abstract: A restaurant management system (10) is provided. The restaurant management system (10) includes an inventory system (64). Also included are a supplier (54) and a user (52). Orders are sent from the user (52) to the supplier (54). The orders have associated therewith time information. Each item in the order has associated therewith an inherent minimum time until the order may be delivered. Also included is a remuneration system (60) to collect money in response to the receipt of an order. An alarm system (300) having a plurality of threshold alarms with each of the threshold alarms associated with a predetermined duration of time from the receipt of the order is also provided.

  • Patent number: 4527413
Abstract: A forming machine (10) is provided for forming a finished part (12) from a flat blank (14). Draw stations (18-24) are provided to initially form the intermediate part. Each draw station includes a punch (44, 62, 66, 70') and a draw die (48, 64, 68, 72). Each punch defines a shoulder along its length to create a first step (60) in the side walls (26) of the intermediate part. In a subsequent draw stage, a draw punch (70') forms a second shoulder along its length to create a second step (100) in the side walls (26) of the intermediate part. A draw shoulder (61) on the draw punch (71') mates with the step (60) to maintain the concentric shape thereof. In the subsequent necking and final form stages (30, 32, 34) the punch employed also has a shoulder to permit variation of the force applied to the intermediate part between the step and bottom portion.

  • Patent number: 4526114
Abstract: A semi-automatic split needle bar sewing machine (10) includes a sewing machine (12) which is driven by a motor (26) that drives a left needle (22) and a right needle (23). A presser foot (24) is operated by presser lift actuator (30). The needles (22) and (23) can activate in unison or independently by use of fall out actuators (41) and (43), respectively. A control chassis (50) includes a microprocessor controller (51) that is programmable through an input panel (44). An edge detector (40) detects the edge of the material to provide feedback for the microprocessor controller (51). The microprocessor controller (51) is operable to sew a decorative pattern with mitered corners by sensing the pivot point of the mitered corner and automatically disengaging one of the needles (22) or (23).
