Abstract: Nonvolatile memory devices and methods of forming the same are provided, the nonvolatile memory devices may include first regions and second regions which extend in a first direction and are alternately disposed in a semiconductor substrate along a second direction crossing the first direction. Buried doped lines are formed at the first regions respectively and extend in the first direction. The buried doped lines may be doped with a dopant of a first conductivity type. Bulk regions doped with a dopant of a second conductivity type and device isolation patterns are disposed along the second direction. The bulk regions and the device isolation patterns may be formed in the second regions. Word lines crossing the buried doped lines and the bulk regions are formed parallel to one another. Contact structures are connected to the buried doped lines and disposed between the device isolation patterns.

Abstract: The sheet thickness detector includes a fixed member, a displacement roller disposed opposite the fixed member and movable in such a linear direction as to be contacted with or separated from the fixed member when the sheet passes through a nip therebetween, bearings rotatably supporting a shaft of the displacement roller, a displacement member movable in the linear direction in conjunction with the displacement roller and integrated with at least one of the bearings, and a displacement sensor operatively connected to the displacement member and detecting displacement of the displacement member. The thickness of the sheet passing through the nip is determined based on the amount of displacement of the displacement member.

Abstract: A short-circuit recognition method is disclosed, especially an early short-circuit recognition method, for an electric network. In at least one embodiment, in order to improve the switching times of protective devices, the current and the first and second temporal derivation thereof are continuously and consecutively determined at the same time and in the same temporal distance and are processed as respective digital sequences of numbers. Every sequence of numbers is associated with a defined threshold value, the numbers of the three sequences of numbers being compared with the respective threshold value associated therewith. Every number that exceeds the threshold value associated therewith is associated with a weighting variable and the weighting variables that pertain to the same time are added up to a first weighting sum.
Abstract: Provided are an interface system and a method of controlling the interface system. The interface system may include a memory, a first processor, a second processor, and an interface unit. The memory may be configured to store received data in packets. The first processor may be configured to analyze a header of each of the packets to obtain analysis information. The second processor may be configured to receive and process a payload of the packet that includes the analyzed header and the payload. The interface unit may be configured to transmit only the payload to the second processor based on the analysis information. Since the interface system and the method may directly transmit only the payload of the packet to the processor without copying the payload to a separate memory, memory usage efficiency and system performance may be improved and power consumption may be reduced.

Abstract: A barcode detection device performs a barcode detection analysis operation of detecting and analyzing a barcode in image data to generate a barcode detection result. An image processor performs an image processing operation of applying image processing to the image data to generate processed image data when the barcode detection indicates an error in barcode detection or analysis. The controller causes the image processor and the barcode detection device to sequentially perform a plurality of retry operations each of which including a set of the image processing operation and the barcode detection analysis operation until one or more successful detection results are obtained, while causing the image processor to change a type of the image processing being applied for each retry operation.
Abstract: An example embodiment relates to a method of forming a pattern structure, including forming an object layer on a substrate, and forming a hard mask on the object layer. A plasma reactive etching process is performed on the object layer using an etching gas including a fluorine containing gas and ammonia (NH3) gas together with oxygen gas to form a pattern. Abstract: A method and system for increasing the certainty of a silhouette matching process, where the process is being used for attitude determination of an object of interest, for example an aircraft. The method involves using one or more mask images that include structure or features that may or may not always be associated with the object of interest, and overlaying the mask image(s) onto a library image of the aircraft. Each pixel of the library image is compared against corresponding pixels of the mask image(s) to determine which pixels represent ambiguous areas of the library image. Those pixels are eliminated from consideration in determining a Fit score, where the Fit score represents a percentage value indicative of a certainty of the matching process in identifying the attitude of the aircraft. The method and system is applicable to a wide ranging variety of object detection applications.

Abstract: A sensor module for a compressor, having an electric motor operating at a first voltage, the sensor module operating at a second voltage, is provided. The sensor module includes a plurality of inputs connected to a plurality of sensors that generate a plurality of operating signals associated with operating conditions of the compressor. A processor is connected to the plurality of inputs and records multiple operating condition measurements from the plurality of operating signals. A communication port is connected to the processor for communicating said operating condition measurements to a control module that controls the compressor. The processor is disposed within an electrical enclosure of the compressor, the electrical enclosure being configured to house electrical terminals for connecting a power supply to the electric motor. The second voltage is less than said first voltage.
