Abstract: A TFT array substrate and a manufacturing method thereof, where the TFT array substrate includes a substrate; a gate line and a gate electrode integrated therewith, which are covered by a gate insulating layer, a semiconductor layer, and a ohmic contact layer sequentially. An insulating layer is formed on the resulting substrate and on both sides of the gate line and the gate electrode, the gate insulating layer, the semiconductor layer, and the ohmic contact layer. A trench is then formed in the ohmic contact layer to divide the ohmic contact layer over the semiconductor layer. A data line and first and second source/drain electrodes are then formed on the insulating layer and the ohmic contact layer.
Abstract: A thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) pixel unit and a method for manufacturing the same. The pixel unit comprises a gate line and a gate electrode formed on a substrate and a first gate insulating layer, an active layer, and a doped layer that are sequentially formed on the gate line and the gate electrode. An intercepting trench is formed on the gate line to cut off the doped layer and the active layer on the gate line. A second insulating layer covers the intercepting trench and the substrate where the gate line and the gate electrode are not formed. A pixel electrode is formed on the second insulating layer and a part of the pixel electrode overlaps one of a source and drain electrodes.
Abstract: A pixel unit of TFT-LCD array substrate and a manufacturing method thereof is disclosed. In the manufacturing method, besides a first insulating layer and a passivation layer, a second insulating layer is adopted to cover the gate island, and forms an opening on the gate island to expose the channel region, the source region and the drain region of the TFT. A gray tone mask and a photoresist lifting-off process are utilized to perform patterning, so that the TFT-LCD array substrate can be achieved with just three masks.
Abstract: Head fixation devices and methods of fixating heads of patients for surgical procedures. The head fixation devices generally respectively comprise a skull clamp, a skull clamp arc assembly movable relative to the skull clamp, and a plurality of skull pins operable to engage and fixate heads of patients during neurosurgical and cervical spine procedures. The skull clamp can comprise a single skull pin on each end of the clamp. The two skull pins apply substantially equal compressive forces to the head of a patient. The skull clamp arc assembly, and an arc skull pin thereof, is pivotable to engage and disengage the patient's head for additional fixation support of the head.
Abstract: A method of for aliasing suppression in a sub-band speaker-phone system, comprising receiving an analog audio signal from a near end analog audio input interface, converting said analog audio signal into a near end digital audio signal using an A2D; receiving N?2 sub-bands decoded digital audio data from a far-end, merging said N?2 sub-bands decoded digital audio data into a wideband (WB) decoded digital audio data to be converted by D2A unit and provided to analog audio output interface; splitting said near-end digital audio signal into N?2 near-end sub-bands digital audio signals; subtracting a simulated digital signal from said sub-band digital audio signal, wherein said simulated digital signal is created by an echo cancelling unit; and applying dynamic anti aliasing suppression (DAAS) with varying aggressiveness on each of said N?2 near-end sub-band digital audio signals.
Abstract: An LED lighting system for watercraft, including LED lighting assemblies inserted into tubular members and inserted within rub rails mounted along the gunwale or wall of the hull, along the starboard and port sides, bow and stern. The LED lighting assembly can include ultraviolet LEDS for night fishing, white-light LEDs, a red LED port-running light, and a green LED starboard-running light. The string of LED lights can be pre-assembled into conventional insert tubing, and inserted into the cavities of the rub rail to emit the desired LED light from within the rub rail.
