  • Patent number: 7525781
Abstract: A snubber circuit for use with an integrated power supply control circuit incorporating a transformer and a lateral power MOSFET on a single silicon chip. A capacitor is provided in circuit with the MOSFET and first resistor and diode are in series with each other and the capacitor. A second resistor and diode are also in series with each other and the capacitor. The diodes provide for first current flow in one and an opposite direction and the resistors provide first and second levels of resistance respectively for damping and turn on. In another embodiment, first and second resistors are provided in series with the capacitor, and a diode is connected across one of the resistors.

  • Patent number: 7500835
Abstract: A sump draining apparatus having a pressure transducer engaged in a receptacle that is in turn engaged in an open-ended collar of a housing. The receptacle and thus the pressure transducer is slideable in the axial direction into and out of the open-ended collar. The housing is generally cylindrical and contains a pump and motor, each of which has a generally cylindrical shape and is axially stacked in the housing. A cord having a vent and electrical leads for the pressure transducer is releasably engaged via a cord restraint at one end portion of the housing and the pressure transducer is releasably engaged in the receptacle in the open-ended collar at the other end of the housing. The receptacle and sensor may be removed, serviced, and/or replaced without the housing being opened and without the pump and motor being removed.

  • Patent number: 7493724
Abstract: A fishing lure oscillator, comprising a bent, oblonged, essentially elliptical foil having relatively uniform thickness. Near one end of the foil, a connection is made to an appendage, and near the opposite end of the foil a connection is made to another appendage. Both appendages, serving as a framing device to support the foil, originate from a common base which is adapted to be joined with a fishing lure. When joined with a lure and pulled through a body of water, an outwardly contoured portion of the foil is disposed directly against the flow of water whereby the force of water against the resisting face of the foil causes the foil to pivot freely within the framing device, thus transferring the resulting oscillation to the lure for the purpose of attracting and catching fish.

  • Patent number: 7467726
Abstract: Beverage container which converts to offer mug-like presentation of the liquid contents. An open bottom container screwingly seals to the base of a cylindrical shaped handle member. The beverage container is inverted and the handle member is disengaged from the open bottom container. Subsequently, the neck area of the open bottom container is brought into engagement with the cylindrical shaped handle member to present an open mug-like beverage container. An alternate embodiment discloses a beverage container having deployable handles.

  • Patent number: 7427312
Abstract: An apparatus for removing gas bubbles from a fluid includes a fluid inlet and a separation chamber that is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet. The separation chamber has first and second end portions, with the first end portion being operably oriented gravitationally above the second end portion. The apparatus further includes a first gas-permeable, liquid-impermeable membrane disposed in the separation chamber and extending substantially along a first axis defined as extending between the first and second end portions. A permeate side of the membrane is exposed to an environment having a second partial pressure of a target gas, which second partial pressure is lower than a first partial pressure of the gas in the fluid.

  • Patent number: 7370891
Abstract: A latching mechanism for a carrying case includes a latch body pivotally attached to a top cover of the case, a trigger pivotally attached to the latch body, and an actuator that pivots about the same axis as the trigger. The trigger is pivotable between a latching position for keeping the latch body closed, and a release position to allow the case to be opened. The actuator is pivotable toward and away from a nominal actuator position in which a panel of the actuator assumes a predetermined alignment with the latch body. A torsion spring biases the trigger toward the latching position, and through trigger/actuator contact biases the actuator into the nominal position. The trigger can move toward the release position while the actuator is held in the nominal position, to maintain the selected alignment for a more natural, intuitive latching mechanism closure.
