Patent number: 7341719Abstract: Compositions and methods of treating mammalian diseases using myoblasts, and/or their physical, genetic, chemical derivatives. Myogenic cells that are normal, or genetically or phenotypically altered are cultured and transplanted into malfunctioning and/or degenerative tissues or organs to alleviate conditions that are hereditary, degenerative, debilitating, undesirable, and/or fatal. Treatment of these conditions is not limited to the usage of mechanical, electrical or physical properties of these myogenic cells, but includes the usage of biochemicals secreted/released by the latter. The present invention discloses the use of normal myoblasts to deliver the complete normal genome to effect genetic repair, or to augment the size, or the function of tissues or organs. Certain conditions may be better served with genetically altered myogenic cells derived from gene transduction, whereas others may be better served with cytoclimes converter cells.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 1998Date of Patent: March 11, 2008Inventor: Peter K. Patent number: 6964258Abstract: An engine revolution limiter system is utilized to limit engine speed during a break-in period. The system provides for programming a variable break-in period and a variable selectable engine revolution limit. During the break-in period, if the revolution limit is exceeded by the engine speed, firing of the ignition is limited. In addition, the system provides for an over revolution limit wherein the ignition stops firing if the over revolution limit is exceeded. In addition, multiple break-in periods may be programmed with different associated revolution limits and over revolution limits. This provides for gradually increasing the allowable engine speed as the engine has been operating for greater periods of time.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2003Date of Patent: November 15, 2005Assignee: S & S Cycle, IncorporatedInventors: Joseph A. Patent number: 6924685Abstract: The device for controlling a setup/hold time of an input signal can change a setup/hold time of various control signals applied from an input buffer without physically changing the control device. The device for controlling a setup/hold time of an input signal has transmission gates for performing selectively switching operations according to a decoded test mode control signal, thereby selectively using a signal delay device in driving of drivers to appropriately control the setup/hold time of various control signals applied from a global bus line. Accordingly, the device for controlling a setup/hold time of an input signal can provide a technique which can optimize the setup/hold time at a small cost in comparison with a physical metal option control system.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2003Date of Patent: August 2, 2005Assignee: Hynix Semiconductor, Inc.Inventor: Seung Cheol Bae

Patent number: 6906968Abstract: An input buffer of a semiconductor memory device includes a first buffer block for buffering an input data through a delay path selected from a plurality of delay paths, and a second buffer block for buffering an input data strobe signal through a delay path selected from a plurality of delay paths, wherein the plurality of delay paths of the first buffer block and the plurality of delay paths of the second buffer block are identically formed by the same devices, and the corresponding delay paths are selected from the plurality of delay paths according to the same selecting signals. Although the input buffer fails to obtain a margin of a data setup and hold time in an input/output sense amplifier due to variations of the data setup and hold time by maximum and minimum values of tDQSS in a write operation mode, the input buffer can easily obtain the margin of the data setup and hold time in response to a special test mode signal.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2003Date of Patent: June 14, 2005Assignee: Hynix Semiconductor Inc.Inventors: Kwang Hyun Kim, Sun Suk Yang
