Abstract: A direct reading ohmmeter for neutralizing the effects of foreign voltages is disclosed including alternately connected stages for registering the Thevenin Equivalent open circuit voltage across test probes as well as a voltage whose value is a function of the resistance to be measured, and circuitry monitoring these stages for determining the value of the unknown resistance by a continuous subtraction of the stored voltages.
