Abstract: A method for providing an electrically conductive connection between an electric terminal device having a cavity, such as a cable shoe, and a sheet metal part. A hollow fixing element is riveted to the sheet metal part to prevent torsion, thus producing an electrically conductive connection between the fixing element and the sheet metal part. The assembled component is then provided with an electrically non-conductive or poorly conductive protective coating, such as a lacquer coating or powder coating. A receptacle for the electric terminal device is configured in the vicinity of the front face of the fixing element, to which the electrical terminal device is attached. The receptacle prevents the torsion of the terminal device in relation to the fixing element. The sheet metal part and a thread forming or cutting screw is screwed through the cavity of the electric terminal device into the hollow fixing element. The screwing action forms or cuts a thread.

Abstract: A method for making an illustrated card has providing a cardboard with at least one printed layer and ornamentation; positioning one ornamentation on one of the adhesive portions; pressing the ornamentation toward the adhesive portion; and repeating positioning one ornamentation on one of the adhesive portions and pressing the ornamentation toward the adhesive portion. The illustrated card allows users especially children to make the illustrated card by themselves and children can be trained to arrange the ornamentation with different colors for improving chromatological and fine-motor skills.

Abstract: A dental agent applicator has a barrel, a sealing plug, a delivery head and a plunger. The barrel has a proximal end, a distal end and a chamber defined through the barrel. The sealing plug is mounted in the chamber and hermetically obstructs the chamber. The delivery head is movably mounted on the distal end of the barrel and has a hub and a nozzle tip. The hub is mounted movably in the distal end and selectively moves the sealing plug to make the chamber communicate with the delivery head. The nozzle tip is mounted on the hub. The plunger is mounted slidably in the proximal end of the barrel. The delivery head is mounted permanently on the barrel. Using the dental agent applicator without having to replace any sealing cap with the delivery head is simple and convenient.

Abstract: A method for providing a user of a telephone device with a capability to use Internet-based applications. The user of a telephone device sends a request to be connected to an Internet-based application to a first server, which establishes a communication path extending between the telephone device and a second server at which the application resides, via that first server. A virtual client entity is created at that first server specific to the telephone device to allow communication between the telephone device and the application and concluded upon termination of the communication session. The user's ID for that application is stored, and used to forward messages for that user when the user is not actively connected to that application. After the message has been received and stored by the first server, an indication is sent to the user that such messages have been received.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to varying load and modulation applied to each of multiple frequency subchannels based on anticipated attenuation experienced by those subchannels. Communicating data includes identifying a static component of a transmission medium for wideband communications having at least two subchannels determining a function of noise is attenuation versus frequency for the static component selecting wideband modulation schemes for the subchannels based on the function determined and communicating a data signal over the subchannels. The transmission medium includes a medium other than a copper telephone wire between and including a carrier facility and a termination of the copper telephone wire at an access point at a user premise and copper telephone wire in a cable riser in multitenant units and multi-dwelling buildings. Independent demodulation functions may be applied to at least two of the subchannels.

The device comprises a cartridge charged with and storing one or more needles, a first magnet positioned at a side of the cartridge to pull a needle stored in the cartridge by magnetic force and automatically place the needle at a striking position, striking means positioned on the cartridge to strike the needle placed at the striking position and insert the needle into an afflicted site of the body, and a discharge section positioned underneath the cartridge and defined with a hole through which the needle struck by the striking means is discharged. By storing one or more needles in the cartridge in a disarranged state and pressing a button, the stored needles can be driven one by one into the afflicted sites of the body.

The plug has a ground hole and multiple arced holes mounted through a bottom thereof, an intermediate ground assembly and two intermediate conducting clip assemblies mounted in the plug and respectively corresponding to the ground hole and the arced holes, and a ground pin and two conducting pins mounted on a top thereof and respectively and electrically connected with the intermediate ground assembly and the intermediate conducting clip assemblies. When the plug is assembled with the body, the ground terminal and the conducting terminals are electrically connected with the ground pin and the conducting pins respectively inserted into the ground hole and selectively into the corresponding arced holes. With the structure, the plug is replaceable and positionable.

Abstract: A water controlling valve includes an outer sheet, an end cap and a control valve group. The control valve group is disposed between a flowing bore in the outer sheet and a water bore in the end cap. The water controlling valve is connected with the outlet of a water tube. When the control valve group is pushed upwards, the water bore in the end cap and the flowing bore in the outer sheet are closed in a predetermined sequence, then the water in the tube will not flow out. When the control valve group is pushed downwards, the flowing bore in the outer sheet and the water bore in the end cap are opened, then the water will flow out. When the water is stopped, the occurring positive or negative pressure wave is lowered, and then the vibration and the raspy noise will be avoided.
