Abstract: A trim tab control system adapted to adjust trim tabs to optimize the velocity of a water vessel. The trim tab control system is adapted to have a tilt sensor and a velocity sensor in communication with the microcontroller where the microcontroller records the position of the trim tabs based on trim tab adjustments that the trim tab control system initiates, as well as trim tab adjustments initiated by the helmsman of the water vessel.
Abstract: A warehouse palette rack repositioning assembly which can move a palette rack in its fully loaded state from one area of the warehouse to the other area of the warehouse. The warehouse pallet rack repositioning assembly can be installed onto a pallet rack by one workman. The assembly has a lifting unit and four wheeled skate units which provide the transportation means. The lifting unit is attached to the palette rack upright legs in the transverse direction, and a jack is used to actuate the lifting unit and lift the palette rack. The wheeled skate units are then installed underneath the palette rack uprights, with the pallet rack then being loaded onto the wheeled skate units for transportation.
Abstract: A boat hull having sealed rigid chambers and a perimeter inflatable portion positioned and attached laterally outward thereof. The perimeter inflatable portions provide redundant buoyancy and allow loads acting upon the hull to be shifted laterally without compromising stability of the boat.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for removing settleable solids and unsettleable solids from a partially closed flush system in a diary milking operation whereby a first processing tank bottom removes settleable solids contained therein where the net current flow vertically in the process tank is less than the settling rate of the settleable solids contained therein. The process tank batch feeds a plurality of thickening tanks that are each allowed to settle for a period of time before transferring fluid is to a second separator. The method and apparatus is particularly conductive for feeding a digester.
Abstract: A vent for a drum or drum head is provided. The vent includes a valve which is mounted on the side of the drum or drum head which can be adjusted between fully open and fully closed positions and may provide a range of settings between those two positions. A number of embodiments of adjustable throttle valve types that are applicable including but not limited to: globe valve, gate valve, ball valve, plug valve butterfly valve, diaphragm valve, check valve, one, two or three way valves, pinch valve, flap valve, needle valve or safety valve.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to an in-wall speaker system, specifically a system that is not readily visible and mounted in a room. The in-wall speaker system is comprised of a base frame that is adapted to be mounted between support members of a wall. The in-wall speaker system further has a speaker assembly mounted to the base frame and an active member that has an outer surface which is substantially coplanar with the surrounding wall section and in one form extends slightly outward therefrom. The base frame, speaker assembly, and the active member cooperate to form an acoustic chamber that is positioned behind the inner surface of the active member. Acoustic energy is transferred from the speaker assembly to the active member where the sound is produced therefrom to the room.
Abstract: A windshield wiper solution dispenser located at vehicle servicing stations or fuel stations. The stations are usually located in geographic regions which are exposed to long periods of freezing temperatures. The solution dispenser is configured to maintain the solution within the dispenser in a liquid state during outside freezing temperatures. The dispenser has an interior region which contains the solution and also has a heater to keep the solution in a liquid state. A plurality of monitors or sensors are provided as well as temperature controlling mechanisms. In one embodiment the heater has a programmable logic device or controller to monitor the interior temperature and exterior temperatures as well as the solution liquid level and adjust the heater and the amount of solution contained in the dispenser as needed. The heater can be a coiled electrical resistance heater, an electrical liner heater, or a plurality of thermoelectric units which can be placed around the outside of the dispenser.
Abstract: A water producing system adapted to condense water from the air and collected in a storage tank were the water is purified and bacteria is killed. One form of killing the bacteria is utilizing an ozone injection system with a filter system to remove the ozone before the water is dispensed. In one form, a dual fluid circuit is utilized where an operating fluid dumps heat to a second circuit such as a refrigeration cycle and the cooled operating fluid lowers the temperature of a water condensation member.
Abstract: Flexible filtering filling material consisting of pieces that are 100% open cell reticulated polyurethane foam. The pieces filter out the damp warm condition within the filling, haltering the proliferation of microorganisms, giving the product a more sanitary and longer life.

Abstract: A golf green repair tool with a depth limiting feature that has an earth engagement surface that has a forward slant to reposition the raised portion around a crater to the center region of the crater. A prong portion is adapted to be thrusted toward the center region of the crater and the repair tool is adapted to do minimal damage to the turf mat and provides a desirable method to repair craters left by impacting golf balls by properly repositioning of the displaced portions.
Abstract: A grappling carriage that is relatively lightweight and adapted to forcefully close first and second grapple legs with a log or a bundle of logs contained therein. The grappling carriage has a self-contained power supply that is remotely controlled by the operator. The grappling carriage is sufficiently lightweight to operate in a variety of cabling topographies given the relatively lighter weight of the unit.
Abstract: The invention relates to a fin stabilization system adapted to minimize roll about the longitudinal axis of the boat during sharp cornering at very high speeds. In one form, equipment such as a machine gun is mounted to the bow of the boat and targets are adapted to be engaged in high-speed maneuvers when cornering and the deck of the boat is not excessively rolled whereby blocking visibility in a turn.

Abstract: A gun attachment adapted to fit to the subframe of a handgun and mount to a laterally extending member which can be a modified laterally extending member to extend beyond the lateral surfaces of the subframe, whereby an extension member which moves with respect to a base member applies a force to the trigger guard of the subframe, thereby creating a positive torque counteracted by engagement of a chamber region to the forward portion of the subframe whereby the gun attachment is rigidly attached to the subframe of the handgun without substantially modifying the same. The handgun attachment further comprises a forward member adapted to have load exerted thereon and transferring the load to the subframe and not to the slide, thereby maintaining the handgun in battery and allowing the handgun to be fired in a close quarter situation.
Abstract: A hoisting assembly that is adapted to be mounted to the frame of a vehicle where a hoisting device extends an attachment member such as a hook to connect to an engagement location of the differential where the hoisting assembly is positioned substantially vertically above the differential and when the hoisting assembly supports a differential the load is transferred to the frame of the vehicle.
Abstract: A system to intensify pressure supplied by a conventional pump where a piston assembly having two piston members at opposite ends is positioned in a pressure cylinder. The laterally outer subchambers are defined by the piston members and the cylinder and are adapted to receive fluid at an operating pressure provided by the pump and produce intensified pressure at the opposite outer subchamber. A pressure distributing system alternates returning fluid at intensified pressure to the inner subchamber near the outer subchamber creating the intensified pressure.
Abstract: A projectile launching device having at least first and second elastic members that are attached to a projectile pocket where a tong member is adapted to grasp the projectile pocket with the projectile therein and reposition the projectile pocket rearwardly to store energy within the first and second elastic members. The tong member is adapted to be mounted to the base frame of the projectile launching device where the projectile is positioned in a substantially consistent manner from shot to shot and active involvement is required by the shooter to maintain the projectile launching device in a stored energy state.
Abstract: A backpack having a waist encircling belt, and an attached set of shoulder straps which retract into a discreet pocket when not in use. There is a set of shoulder straps having clips on one end, and these are carried in, and attached to, a discreet pocket at the other end which is location on the outside, rear panel of the pack where the shoulder straps are readily accessible and can easily be drawn out and attached to rear side portions of the waist encircling belt. This provides additional support for the pack on an as-needed basis, and has the added benefit of being quickly and easily stowed when not in use.
