Abstract: This invention relates to a manufacturing method for production of visibly heterogeneous or asymmetrical sunglasses, eyeglasses or frames. The production method mass produces a product comprising a randomly selected motley assembly of asymmetrical lens frames, for example, wherein a component of the left frame is different from a component in either the left frame or the right frame and/or where the product is sunglasses, the left lens is of a different color from the right lens, for example. Further, in the method both differing aspects may occur in the manufactured product. The sunglasses made by a random selection of right and left framed lenses of different colors, for example, and/or by a random selection of right and left differently framed lenses or by a random selection of both. In the method for manufacturing parts of the frames are randomly selected from sets of randomly pre-assembled sub-assemblies.

Abstract: A device for removal of dental plaque from the furca, cemento-enamel junction, and gingival pockets in between two adjacent teeth, the device having a dental arm with a detachable dental brush having a malleable spine supported substantially perpendicular from the arm, the arm imparting a tiny mechanical vibratory action from a motor driving an eccentrically mounted cylindrical weight through contact of the brush with the furca, junctions and pockets in between the adjacent teeth. The brush having a conical shape defined by a cross section representing an isoceles triangle having an apex angle of approximately 30.degree. wherein the surface of the brush is contourable and the bristles are splayed by the tiny vibratory action into the furca, junctions, and pockets.

Abstract: Household food wraps are commercially available in a standard 12" nominal width roll. The present invention provides an article of manufacture for dispensing narrower strips of food wrap. The food wrap dispenser of the present invention includes a quadrilateral carton and a roll divider for receipt of a plurality of substandard size rolls of food wrap. A method of selectively converting standard size rolls of food wrap to substandard size rolls is also disclosed.

Abstract: A fitness and nutrition education game apparatus and method of play. The game apparatus includes a playing board having a playing path defined by a plurality of contiguous spaces; a set of playing pieces that are separate representations of an obese body image, a chubby body image and a slim body image; a die; a first plurality of playing cards each having printed thereon a first question of moderate difficulty about nutrution, diet, exercise and fitness and the corresponding answer; and a second plurality of playing cards each having printed thereon a second question of advanced difficulty about nutrition, diet, exercise and fitness and the corresponding answer.Play is conducted by advancing the playing piece along the playing path for the number of spaces determined by a throw of the die. Player directives marked on the contiguous spaces further determine the number of spaces and direction that a playing piece advances.

Abstract: This dispenser is designed to be employed in delivering a prescribed quantity of medication into a nostril of a patient. Primarily, it consists of a main body having a U-shaped chamber therein, for containing a measured quantity of medication received from a barrel of the device by rotation of a plunger in the barrel, and the main body is transparent for visually observing a pair of painted and indented dots provided in the leg portions of the medication chamber. An oral blow tube is also provided for air pressure to be applied to the chamber to dispense the medication out of the chamber into a flexible and transparent nasal tube that is insertable into a nostril of a patient.

Abstract: A lawn mower having a plurality of discharge exit ports and exit port closure means disposed about the periphery of the housing member of said lawn mower. Each closure means is selectively and individually operable between a fully closed position and a fully open position by a control lever disposed on the handle of the lawn mower to provide means for selective discharge of cut grass by the operator while standing behind the lawn mower and while the lawn mower is being propelled.

Abstract: A camera mount for taking panoramic pictures. A camera mounting plate is rotatably attached to a tripod mounting plate in a manner permitting the camera mounting plate to sweep an arc of rotation along the top surface of the tripod mounting plate. The tripod mounting plate has a convexly-curved forward edge and a protractor disposed adjacent the forward edge. A stationary detent is fixedly attached adjacent to the center of the protractor and a plurality of adjustable detents are disposed to each side of the stationary detent within respective detent slots disposed along the arc of rotation adjacent to the protractor. The camera mounting plate includes a camera mounting block that can be adjusted rearwardly and forwardly upon the camera mounting plate. A pointer integrally formed as part of the camera mounting plate includes a transparent eyeglass disposed above the protractor having a datum to facilitate alignment of the pointer with the protractor.

Abstract: A button adjustment apparatus for the straps of a child's garment. The apparatus includes a base member having three transverse slots and a button fixedly attached between two of the slots. The garment straps are threaded through the slots so that the button can be selectively adjusted along the length of the strap by sliding the straps in the slots of the base member.

Abstract: A hand-held electronic dice game randomly generates pictorial representations of a plurality of die faces in display windows. Players' scores are determined by comparing wagers made by a player to a predetermined scoring schedule. The hand-held electronic disce game displays the score each turn and accumulated running scores.

Abstract: An earring clasp for pierced-ear type earrings that provides means for disposing a perfuming agent substantially near or in contact with the ear lobe of the wearer. The earring clasp is formed having a first disk member, a second disk member and a body of sorbent material sandwiched between the first and second disk members. A plurality of air holes extend transversely through the clasp to permit air flow about the wearer's ear lobe. In one embodiment of the earring clasp, the first disk member is disposed adjacent to the wearer's ear lobe and is formed from a fluid pervious material to permit capillary transmission of a perfuming agent disposed on the sorbent material.

Abstract: An automatic coffee maker providing means to reduce the amount of coffee required. A meshed coffee basket containing coffee grounds is lowered into a coffee pot and water stored in the coffee maker fills the pot. A heating element brings the water to a boil steeping the coffee grounds to more efficiently extract the flavorings from the coffee grounds. The coffee basket is automatically raised as directed by a timer included in the coffee maker.

Abstract: A liquid nail polish remover applicator that permits disposal of soiled absorbent material within the applicator. The applicator is formed as a hollow housing member having a first chamber which houses a wetted coiled strip of absorbent material and a second chamber which receives soiled absorbent material, the first and second chambers being separated by a flexible membrane which permits enlargement of the space within the second chamber by displacement of the space within the first chamber. The absorbent material is fed through said housing member by a manually operated gear mechanism. An opening is formed within the housing member between said first chamber and said second chamber to selectively expose axial portions of the absorbent matrial.

Abstract: A unitary carrier vest for shoulder-supported carrying of packages and other articles. The vest includes two L-shaped carrier bags integrally formed with a flexible vest back portion formed by an array of flexible cross-hatching. The carrier bags are disposed to each side of the wearer's torso. The carrier vest further includes a padded, double-layered collar that permits the vest to be worn as a collared or collarless garment.

Abstract: A beverage cooler and dispenser wherein bottled beverages are received into a housing member and the beverage therein is transferred by gravity to a cooling chamber comprising honeycombed beverage passageways. The beverage is thermoelectrically cooled within the honeycombed passageways and selectively dispensed from the cooling chamber via a spigot fixedly attached to said housing member.

Abstract: An external catheter system for males including a waist belt assembly, a genital sheath having a scrotum bar, and a urine collector, wherein the sheath and urine collector are interconnected by a length of flexible tubing. The urine collector provides means for collection of expelled urine and means to stage and treat expelled urine prior to ultimate disposal.
