    Abstract: Control of skew, bow and yield in circularly knit pile fabric is accomplished by providing the fabric tube as knit and before longitudinal slitting with identification mark means so aligned with respect to selected longitudinally spaced courses that after the fabric tube has been slit and spread out flat for tentering, skew, bow and yield can be readily controlled in response to detecting means for viewing the identification mark means.
