Abstract: A cable organizer is disclosed. The cable organizer includes a cable spool that is mountable to an underside of a support surface and is used to organize, store and separate cables and power cables used to operate and power electrical appliances. The cable spool is formed from cup structures that are fitted or snapped together and that include the flexible shells or skirts and core portions. The cable organizer preferably includes a surge protected power supply with a plurality of power outlets for providing power to power cables organized, stored and separated by the cable organizer. The power supply is preferably mountable between the cable spool and the underside of the work surface.
Abstract: Automatic lighting control systems, devices, and methods that automatically control a light source in response to detected computer usage by a user are disclosed. The automatic lighting control method comprises monitoring usage of a computer and controlling an output of a light based on the usage. The system comprises a computer configured to detect usage of the computer by a user, a central server, a lighting controller unit, and a light source that is controlled based on the usage of the computer. The usage is selected from the group consisting of a key stroke, a mouse movement, a use of a peripheral device operatively coupled to the host computer, and any combination thereof.

Abstract: A snorkel and snorkel system are disclosed. The snorkel includes an arching breathing tube with a mouthpiece at a first end and a breathing port at a second end. The arching breathing tube preferably arches through a range of angles between 240 and 300 degrees and mouthpiece and the breathing port are separated by a distance in a range of 8 to 16 inches. The snorkel system preferably includes a strap with a bracket for securing the snorkel to a user's head and along a front portion of the user's face.
Abstract: A protective clothing article and a method for making the same are disclosed. In accordance with the embodiments of the invention the protective clothing article includes a plurality of potholders with pocket cavities for covering and protecting a user's hands while handling, holding or manipulating hot or cold objects. The protective clothing article also includes an apron for protecting a portion of the user's body. The potholders are configured to detachably couple to an outer front surface of the apron through a set of attachment features, such that the potholders provide pockets for holding objects while coupled to a front outer surface of the apron.
