Abstract: This invention relates to both an apparatus and method of forming a thin flexible and to some extent resilient material strap from a supply of sheet film and further wherein the apparatus and method involves the positioning of the formed stretchable strapping about and in binding relation to the exterior of any one of a plurality of various types of packages, articles, etc. The apparatus comprises positioning means which serves to grip a free end of the formed stretch strapping and exert a pulling force thereon to direct it about a predetermined path of travel surrounding the article being bound and subsequently securing a length of the stretch strapping in binding engagement with the exterior surfaces or portions of the article being bound.

Abstract: A barbecue or outdoor grill or cooking assembly structured from a plurality of interlocking and cooperative components which are readily assembled and disassembled at a given site so as to allow the subject assembly to be easily installed and removed from a given location. The plurality of components define a substantially enclosed interior in which a grill assembly is adjustably positioned such that the grill portion thereof may be raised or lowered relative to a platform designed to support a fire bed or other heat generating source so as to regulate the heat applied to the food being cooked which is positioned on the adjustable grill portion of the grill assembly.

Abstract: An edging assembly to help control growth in landscaped areas comprising a plurality of slats formed of a material allowing the slats to be curved or bent along their length and further including joining means which interconnect correspondingly positioned ends of the slats in an end-to-end orientation. Anchor structures are disposed at spaced apart locations along the collective length of said plurality of slats and are so arranged in their end-to-end orientation so as to removably grip and concurrently secure the plurality of slats to the ground surface in surrounding or adjacent relationship to landscape to be protected from grass, weeds, or like agricultural growth.

Abstract: A crutch assembly capable of having its longitudinal dimension adjusted by a movable lower leg member selectively positionable between an outwardly extended position and an inwardly retracted position through operation of a trigger mechanism. The trigger mechanism either attaches or releases the lower leg portion relative to an elongated base of the crutch and prevents or allows movement of the lower leg portion between the extended and retracted positions due to force exerted on the lower leg member by a biasing spring or by gravity. The height of the crutch is thereby selectively adjusted for adaptation to different elevations of the surface over which a user travels such as when traversing steps, stairs, ramps, etc.
