Abstract: A protein kinase C inhibitor that binds ?-amyloid and its peptide derivatives with the same function are disclosed. These may be useful in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, for example as pseudo vaccines comprising antibodies, or as part of fusion proteins which are able to pass through cell membranes or through the blood-brain barrier. Methods of using the PKC inhibitor and its peptide derivatives for treating Alzheimer's disease are also disclosed.
