  • Patent number: 4617693
Abstract: A drain cleaning assembly including a housing for storing an elongated flexible material auger type cable mounted in surrounding relation about a rotatable drum of the housing and positionable between an operable and a stored position through rotation of the drum relative to the housing. A handle disposed in substantially coplanar relation to the housing and extending outwardly from a periphery thereof is movable relative to the housing such that rotation of the housing relative to the handle causing rotation of the cable about its own longitudinal axis due to a fixed connection of the cable on the interior of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4607444
Abstract: An illuminated sign assembly structured to be portable and thereby usable in a variety of applications such as emergency signalling for distressed vehicles. The sign assembly is formed from a flexible material base capable of being folded upon itself and thereby selectively disposed between an open and closed position. Indicia segments, preferably representing alpha-numerical representations are secured to a display face and accented and distinguished from the remainder of the base through a plurality of illuminating light bulbs arranged in spaced apart arrays which correspond to the configuration of the indicia segments. Electrical circuitry is provided for interconnection of the illuminating light bulbs to one another and to a satisfactory electrical power source such as, but not limited to, the electric battery in a conventional automobile.

  • Patent number: 4583322
Abstract: An assembly for holding and removably mounting a live seedling plant, preferably a containerized seedling, on either a live or an artificial tree, such as a Christmas Tree or the like, in combination with an additional decorating structure of the type typically associated with a Christmas Tree or seasonal ornamentation. The assembly includes an elongated compartment of sufficient longitudinal dimension to maintain growth media therein and thereby allow the root system of the seedling to grow in a preferred vertically downward and elongated configuration of sufficient length to facilitate growth of the seedling. The live plant is thereby combined in a decorative manner with a live or an artifical tree structure and can readily be removed therefrom after the live or artificial tree has been used.

  • Patent number: 4573981
Abstract: A protective sheath structure of the type primarily designed to be selectively positioned and removed from a surrounding, protective and substantially enclosing position relative to the cannula portion of a catheter assembly. Selective engagement and disengagement of the sheath structure is accomplished through activation of a locking structure including a pair of oppositely disposed finger elements pivotally disposed to selectively engage and disengage correspondingly positioned flange structure on the base of the catheter assembly. Positioning ribs on the interior of the sheath body provides substantial centering of the cannula within the interior of the sheath.

  • Patent number: 4571628
Abstract: The present invention is directed towards a portable video viewing mechanism comprising a housing generally in the form of a binocular configuration being dimensioned and configured to be hand-held and manually directed towards a predetermined field of viewing. An adjustable object lens assembly observes the predetermined field of viewing and additional processing assemblies converts the resulting visual image into electrical video signals which are transferred to a remotely located video recorder which in turn transfers the process signal back to a liquid crystal display specifically dimensioned for mounting within the portable housing along independent lines of sight of the viewing assembly. Remote control means may serve to operate the video recorder so as to accomplish selective and substantially concurrent playback of the previously recorded field of vision selectively observed by the object lens assembly wherein such replay may be reviewed on the liquid crystal display structure within the housing.

  • Patent number: 4542717
Abstract: The present invention is directed towards a fuel vaporization system designed primarily for use in automobile or like vehicle internal combustion engines. Liquid fuel such as gasoline is independently forced into a vaporization structure concurrently with the injection of water. The vaporization structure is disposed in direct heat receiving relation to the exhaust manifold of the engine such that heat received therefrom serves to vaporize the water and gasoline mixture prior to its exiting. The vaporized mixture is then fed into the intake manifold and more specifically into each of the plurality of cylinders of the engine. A control assembly includes a pressure switch structured to determine pressure within the vaporization structure to the extent that a decrease of the internal pressure below a predetermined level causes activation of the delivery systems and a continuing supply of water and gasoline mixture to the vaporization assembly until the predetermined pressure is reached and maintained.
