Patent number: 5518242Abstract: A golf club head comprising a striking face section, a sole, and a flange extending about the periphery of the sole. The flange decreases in height from the upper edge of the striking face section to the back edge of the sole. A composition insert is secured within the front of the striking face section. This structure provides a crownless club head. In one modification, the insert has only edge support by the body of the club head. In another modification, the club head is made of a solid material having a high strength/density ratio with no face insert.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 1995Date of Patent: May 21, 1996Assignee: Lisco, Inc.Inventors: Steven J. Patent number: 5516190Abstract: An infant carrier comprising a seat having a front, back, opposed parallel side walls, and a handle having opposed parallel legs with one end of each of the legs being pivotally connected to a mating side wall. The legs extend upwardly and inwardly from the side walls and terminate at their distal ends in a spaced apart relationship along a longitudinal axis between the side walls. A handgrip connects the distal ends of the legs so that the transverse axis of the handgrip extends along the longitudinal axis between the side walls. The handle is preferably of a molded plastic and may comprise two substantially identical legs which are secured together in the handgrip area.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 1995Date of Patent: May 14, 1996Assignee: Lisco, Inc.Inventors: James M. Patent number: 5482287Abstract: A dimple configuration for a golf ball having a dimple-free equator wherein each hemisphere has substantially the same dimple pattern, the dimple pattern in each hemisphere comprising a total of 201 dimples with a dimple located at the pole and a first set of five adjacent triangles, with one vertex of each triangle being at the pole dimple and the sides of the triangles opposite the pole being spaced a predetermined distance from the equator. The pattern further comprises a second set of five triangles smaller than the first set of triangles and equally spaced between the first set of triangles and the equator. Each of the second set of triangles has a vertex common with adjacent ones of the first set of triangles. The legs of all the triangles contain adjacent dimples and the area within the large triangles and between the small triangles is also filled with dimples. Three different diameters of dimples are used within the pattern.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 1995Date of Patent: January 9, 1996Assignee: Lisco, Inc.Inventors: R. Dennis Nesbitt, Joseph F. Patent number: 5475937Abstract: Shoe spike apparatus permitting quick interchange or replacement of gripping elements, the apparatus including a shoe sole attachment plate with a downwardly depending stabilizer shaft; a snap ring socket affixed to the plate; a snap ring received within the socket; and a spike member provided with a recess for receiving the stabilizer shaft and a groove for receiving the snap ring to hold the spike member firmly and without lateral movement to the attachment plate and shaft. Circular construction of engaging surfaces of the spike member and the socket and snap ring allow rotational movement of the spike member relative to the socket to prevent rotational stress which might otherwise tear the sole attachment plate from the sole in which it is embedded. Rigid contact surfaces permit only uni-directional removal of the spike member from the socket for assuring the integrity of the snap lock mechanism.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 1994Date of Patent: December 19, 1995Inventor: David L. Korsen

Patent number: 5458398Abstract: A child's car seat having a recessed area in the back through which the vehicle seat belt passes. Apertures in the left and right sides of the recessed area allow the vehicle seat belt to be threaded through one opening, across the recessed area, and through the other opening. The recess is partially covered with a molded panel leaving a restricted opening at the bottom of the recessed belt path with the opening sufficient to allow the vehicle seat belt to be threaded from the front of the seat. The padding covering the seat has a slit adjacent the restricted opening.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 1994Date of Patent: October 17, 1995Assignee: Lisco, Inc.Inventors: Paul K. Meeker, William R. Patent number: 5445585Abstract: A doorway exerciser comprising a scissor-type spring-biased clamp having opposed arms for securing the exerciser above the upper doorframe and a strap adjustable in length removably secured to the clamp and extending downwardly. The strap passes downwardly into a tube having a compression spring therein, through a slotted plate at the bottom of the spring, and returns upwardly and is secured to itself. The tube is preferably of plastic and has three equally spaced ears extending therefrom witch two parallel slots in each ear. A separate strap for each ear passes upwardly through a first slot and downwardly through the other slot in each of the ears. One end of the strap is configured so as to prevent movement through the first slot. The other end of the strap is secured to an infant seat.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 1993Date of Patent: August 29, 1995Assignee: Lisco, Inc.Inventor: Paul K. Meeker

Patent number: 5442140Abstract: A conduit and cable sealer comprising a resilient cylindrical base terminating in opposed end faces with a circumferential flange extending transversely from one of the faces. A plurality of boreholes extend through the base between the two faces. Cable-accepting seals having stepped towers are insertable in and removable from the boreholes and provide a frictional fit with the internal walls of the boreholes. The base with cable-accepting seals inserted frictionally fits within an end of a conduit so as to seal that end of the conduit when not in use. When cables are used, the towers are cut to the proper size so as to frictionally fit about the cables.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 1993Date of Patent: August 15, 1995Assignee: Homac Mfg.
