Abstract: A hand and wrist exerciser having an outer frame comprising left and right outer posts, upper and lower members connected to the left and right outer posts, and intermediate portion, configured such portion at an angle of less than 180 degrees with respect to the upper and lower members forming an arch thereby. The upper member has slots on the lower side thereof and the lower member has slots on the upper side thereof. A pair of gripping posts, slidably connected to the upper and lower members, have bars inserted therethrough which enable the gripping posts to slide toward the outer posts in one direction. Tension springs, located within the upper and lower members, hold each of the gripping posts toward the intermediate portion.

Abstract: A device for dispensing and carrying tape having a C-shaped handle where both ends have openings. Two cylinders inserted through each of the openings form a spindle by which to dispense and carry tape. Each cylinder has a J-slot cut into its side to receive an engaging screw which attaches through the C-shaped handle. By turning each cylinder one way, the cylinders form a spindle by which to hold a roll of warning (or caution) tape. By turning the cylinder each the other way, the cylinders retract to allow installation of a new warning tape roll.
Abstract: A suture holder allows a scrub nurse to “load” (i.e., retrieve a suture needle and thread onto a surgical needle driver) with one hand during a surgical operation. The suture holder is made of spring loops arranged on a supporting base to hold suture packets. Leaf springs can also be employed on a suture holder to hold and secure suture packets during surgery.
Abstract: A gearshift knob cover for removably attaching to the knob of a floor-mounted gearshift lever with an upper portion fitted snugly over the gearshift knob; and a lower portion connected to the upper portion wrapping around the shaft of a gearshift lever to hold the gearshift knob cover in place. The upper portion has a soft leather outer covering and an inner backing filled between with padding, typically foam rubber. The lower portion is also typically made of soft leather. Both the upper portion and the lower portion are provided with openings for gearshift buttons. The lower portion is provided both with snaps to hold the gearshift knob cover in place and with pockets for pens, pencils, cigarette packages, etc.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for delivery of remediation material to treat underground contaminated soils and water having a hollow cylindrical pipe through which both to apply water under air pressure and to deliver the remediation materials. Tanks of water, nutrients, and bacteria are typically mounted on the platform of a flat-bed truck or on a trailer which is transported by means of a hitch. A compressor is connected to the tanks of water, nutrients, and bacteria to provide pressurized air to create flow of water, nutrients, and bacteria from the tanks to the underground contaminated soils and water.
