The hitch assembly tows a front agricultural implement and a rear agricultural implement in a tandem position when traveling on a roadway. By releasing a front latch and at the same time releasing a cable that holds a rear wheel, the forward movement of the implements towed behind the pulling vehicle allows the rear wheel to fall back and moves the rear implement in a side-by-side position with the front implement when the implements are to be used in the field. When the implements are in a side-by-side position, the rear implement may be moved back to a tandem position with the front implement by releasing a rear latch.
