Abstract: A runner for a snowmobile ski is fabricated from flat metal plate stock and incorporates mounting features for securing the runner to the ski and a wear strip of a relatively harder material provided on and projecting from a lower surface of the runner body. A quick release mounting system is provided for attaching the runner to the ski, including quick installation and release wedge mounting systems. The thin runner blade and wear strip are of the same thickness and are joined by a brazed joint. The invention contemplates a method of fabricating the runner and a method of mounting the runner.
Abstract: An ear protector and ear cover for and method covering, protecting and holding the folded ear on a person's head while the hair of the person is being treated. The cover includes a flexible, water impervious strip shield for covering and holding the ear in a forwardly folded condition. The flexible strip shield includes one side with a central non-adhesive ear engaging portion for bearing against the folded ear and an adhesive border strip surrounding the central portion for adhesively sealing to the portion of the person's head surrounding the ear.
Abstract: A stackable building wall unit adapted to be stacked with a plurality of identical building wall units in a plane to form a wall comprising three rectangular panels each including inner and outer faces, a pair of spaced apart long edges, and a pair of spaced apart short edges joined to the short edges of the other two panels to form a triangular, stackable building wall unit which can be stacked with the exterior surfaces of the panels in abutting relation. The exterior face of at least one of the panels includes a female recess therein for receiving a complementally formed key to facilitate alignment and preclude relative shifting of the stacked units in a direction extending between said long edges between the long edges. The key may suitably comprise a complementally formed male projection extending outwardly from another panel of an abutting unit.
Abstract: This invention relates to a one-piece lightweight, compact, low profile adjustable scope mount for mounting a sighting scope on a lateral side surface of an archery bow. The mount includes a dovetail sight mounting rail which projects perpendicular away from the bow and includes a plurality of spaced apart scope receiving channels therein. The mount is detachably swingably mounted on the bow and allows the user to adjust the adjustable mounting plate either vertically and/or horizontally. The adjustable scope mount is unitary in construction and extends a very short distance away from the inside riser of the bow whereby making it virtually impossible to inadvertently move the plate. The adjustment of fasteners is all that is required to make vertical and/or horizontal adjustments.
Abstract: A tree stand including a horizontal platform and mechanism for detachably coupling the platform to a vertical support, such as a tree. The platform includes a vertical access opening therethrough allowing an individual to gain access to the top side of the platform from the underside thereof via a vertical opening extending through the platform. A pair of closure doors is articulately mounted on the platform for swinging movement between co-planar, closed positions, closing the opening and transverse, open positions. The doors can either be individually swingably mounted at there laterally outer edges to the platform or articulately connected to each other and only one of the doors pivotally coupled to the platform.
Abstract: An all terrain vehicle storage rack including an L-shaped bracket having a base for supporting a container thereon and an upstanding leg for detachably mounting on the back of an all terrain vehicle storage rack. A forward portion of at least one container retaining ring is secured to the upstanding leg. A rear portion of the ring is secured and to a rigidifying bar which spans the terminal end of the base and a rear portion of the container ring.
Abstract: A stud stabilizing, positioning and force distributing member for mounting a stud on the outer face of an endless track which includes a plurality of integrally formed traction lugs that extend outwardly beyond the outer track base. The force distributing member includes a hollow enclosure wall, defining an inwardly opening cavity, having a terminal rim which lies in a predetermined plane for abutting the outer face of the track portion between the traction lugs. The enclosure wall includes an aperture there-through which mounts a traction stud at a rearwardly forwardly inclined angle, relative to the direction of track travel and relative to a line perpendicular to the plane, to dispose the stud on the underside of the lower run of the track at a forwardly outwardly inclined angle relative to the vertical line when the track is not under load and a vertical position when the track is under load to drive a snowmobile.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for storing medicaments in bulk and individually dispensing solid medicaments, such as medicine in tablet or pill form, including a rotatable carousel having a plurality of circumferentially spaced-apart upwardly opening storage compartments, each receiving a plurality of identical medicaments in bulk different than the medicaments in each other compartment. Disposed on the carousel between each alternate pair of compartments is a vertical discharge chute which is rotated into alignment with a dispensing station after one of the medicaments is removed from one of the compartments. A vacuum operated probe is pivotally mounted on the frame opposite the dispensing station for swinging movement between a lower position, in which a terminal end of the probe is inside the compartments in engagement with a medicament therein, and a raised position above the carousel, allowing the carousel to rotate to a position in which the adjacent discharge chute is aligned with the terminal probe end.
Abstract: A wallet including a single strip of material including a plurality of oppositely folded and integrally attached panels which extend in directions opposite the adjacent panels to provide a series of outwardly opening paper currency receiving compartments. A closure, integral with at least one of the panels, is detachably coupled to one of the endmost panels in the stack.
