Abstract: A driver circuit produces variable current output for an LED lighting system providing improved dimming capability and greater power efficiency when responding to industry standard lighting dimmers, through the use of an input voltage monitoring circuit which variably controls the current output of a switching regulator. Output current modulation methods such as analog, PWM, Pulse Frequency Modulation, or other digital modulation, and combination or hybrid methods may be employed. The current invention marries such output modulation techniques with a control method which is derived through intelligent monitoring of the input voltage waveform. The circuit and method described is adapted to higher current applications such as LED lighting systems using the latest high-power LEDs.
Abstract: A low voltage LED Lamp produces variable illumination in response to industry standard lighting dimmers, through the use of an input voltage monitoring circuit which variably controls the current output of an integral driver in response to sensed changes in the input voltage. Input circuitry is employed to provide “ghost” loading in the case of high frequency voltage sources such as that provided by certain electronic ballasts requiring minimum loads to operate. Additionally, the capacitive nature of prior art LED driving circuits is altered, increasing power factor and further helping electronic ballasts run properly. A firmware algorithm adapts to the output voltage capability of the driving transformer, dynamically adjusting the illumination to achieve the best dimming curve suited to each transformer. The circuit employed drives high power LEDs, and the lamp is preferably adapted to fit common MR16 size fixtures. Illumination output equivalent to similar size halogen bulbs is achieved.
Abstract: A line voltage LED Lamp produces variable illumination in response to industry standard lighting dimmers, through the use of an input voltage monitoring circuit which variably controls the current output of an integral driver in response to sensed changes in the input voltage. A cascaded converter circuit is used to achieve a very high step-down ratio, enabling the LEDs to be driven from a high input voltage without the need for a power transformer. Electrolytic capacitors are avoided, increasing the life of the driver circuit in the high ambient temperatures typically encountered in the base of similar lamps. The circuit employed drives high power LEDs, and the lamp is adapted to fit common MR16 size fixtures. Illumination output equivalent to similar size halogen bulbs is achieved.
Abstract: A control/driver circuit produces variable current output for a lighting system providing improved dimming and color-mixing capability by allowing digital modulation control in addition to analog control over a range of illumination intensities. The circuit and method described is preferably adapted to higher current applications such as LED lighting systems using high-power LEDs. The output current of the circuit varies in proportion to the voltage level of an analog control signal, and additionally in proportion to the relative duty cycle of a digital pulsed control input.
Abstract: The present invention concerns a boiler tube plug, which is used to plug holes left in drum walls after removal of failed boiler tubes in industrial power boilers, condensers, or heat exchangers. The present invention concerns a new and innovative boiler tube sheet plug for power boilers addressing the needs in the art. The boiler tube plug of the present invention may be used in evaporators, condensers, heat exchangers and other power boilers as appropriate as known in the art.
Abstract: The present invention concerns a cleansing composition that imparts sun protection for the skin through normal daily use during bathing, washing, or cleaning of the body or face. The cleansing composition of the present invention comprises a unique combination of ingredients that provides therapeutic and restorative properties for the skin.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an electronic forensic method for electronic discovery and computer forensics. The invention allows a user to conduct limited preliminary examination of computers using a client program on a physical memory device, whereby limited information about the examination result is displayed. To further access and examine the actual underlying data, the user must obtain additional functionality by obtaining a command block from a control server. The additional functionality will allow the client program to extract, copy, export, or further access the data of interest.

Abstract: The tube assembly device of the present invention maintains spacing for proper heat transfer and avoids tubing wall removal should weld failure occur, thereby decreasing leakage of boiler tubes, shut down time and unscheduled down time for inspections and repairs. Productivity of the boilers is increased and maintenance costs are decreased. In the event of excess stress on the positioning assembly, the retainer assembly of the present invention allows for failure points to occur on the boiler tube position retainer assemblies rather than on the boiler tubes themselves.

Abstract: The present invention concerns rustication forms or moldings having covering (overlay or wrapping) that alleviate problems associated with concrete slab curing. The present invention also concerns methods for forming rustication in concrete walls. The present invention comprises a rustication form substrate, wherein all or portions of the surface exposed to the curing concrete is covered with covering or layering, and only portions of surfaces not exposed to the curing concrete is covered.
