    Abstract: A valve assembly for use in winterizing a swimming pool has a plurality of flow apertures and opens to allow water to flow out of the swimming pool pipes and conduits through a valve flow conduit and the flow apertures and into the pool, and closes under the pressure of the water in the pool to prevent the water from flowing back through the flow apertures, thereby enabling one to empty the pipes and conduits without having to drain the pool.
