    Abstract: There is provided an apparatus for treating garments and fabrics in a dry or wetted state or in an aqueous liquid. The apparatus has an apertured rotating barrel which hold the garments or fabric. A microprocess in association with a plurality of valves selectively admits oxidizing gas, or, steam and liquid into the barrel to desize and/or discolor the garments or fabrics.
