    Abstract: A U-shaped vehicle with flexible beams equipped with an adjustable toe-angle, variable height suspension. Containers are attached between the beams of the vehicle. The rear suspension has a variable toe angle to control the spread of the beams so the vehicle can back around a container. Rear wheel axles are mounted on arms connected to pivot joints. An axle and its pivot points are non-co-planer. The pivot points are angled so that an outer pivot point is higher than an inner pivot point. When the vehicle is lowered close to the ground, the rear wheels develop slight toe out. When the vehicle is raised above Its normal ride height, the rear wheels develop slight toe in, and the beams of the vehicle spread apart when the vehicle is driven in reverse.

    Abstract: A water supply sub-system for connection to a main water supply system includes a storage tank having an inlet with a flow control valve for connection to the main water supply system. The sub-system may be disconnected from the main system and configured as a closed system for disinfecting the sub-system. An outlet line connects the storage tank to a pump that pumps water from the tank to a sub-system supply line. One or more branch connections may connect the sub-system supply line to high-demand water using devices, such as dialysis machines. The supply line may be a feedback loop. A shunt feedback loop parallel to the feedback loop of the supply line has a pressure control valve that regulates pressure in the supply line feedback loop. A filtration device may also be included to ensure the purity of the water circulating through the sub-system.

The collection areas may be pockets slanted radially outwardly and downwardly. A motor may produce a rotating magnetic field, which co-acts with a magnetically reactive material in the rotor. A disposable bag and tubing system may be used in a processing area of the rotor.

    Abstract: An arrow hold down for use with a compound bow having bow string cables and an arrow rest and a cable guard bar mounted above the arrow rest, the cable guard bar extending rearward from the bow and having a cable block on the cable guard bar. The arrow hold down comprises a pivot block secured to the cable guard bar and a holding apparatus in the pivot block. The holding apparatus comprises a forwardly extending arm with a tip to press against an arrow on the arrow rest and a rearwardly extending trigger. The trigger has a transverse portion that is struck by the cables of the bow as an arrow is shot. The arrow is held on the arrow rest by the tip of the forwardly extending arm. The tip is disengaged from the arrow by the motion of the cables or bowstring as the arrow is shot from the bow.

The device includes a centrifuge machine containing one or more suspended product bags that can be oscillated forwards and backwards in an incomplete pendulum swing by operation of a motor mounted in a lid of the machine. The product bag(s) are connected to a ring bag for subsequent processing and to a bag containing diluting solution by a multi-way connector.

Near a distal end of the separation channel, fluid components travel into distinct first and second outlet channels. The height of the first channel is greater than the height of the more distal second channel. The inlet channel height is greater than the height of the first channel. The rotor may be balanced by axially symmetrical sets of inlet channels, separation channels and outlet channels or by a balance channel connected to the separation channel but displaced from the outlet channels.

The flow of blood to the blood processing vessel and return of uncollected blood components may be provided via a single needle, wherein blood is removed from and returned to a donor/patient during alternating blood removal and blood return submodes. Platelet separation and collection options are also described. In either case, prior to red blood cell collection, a set-up phase may be carried out to set a predetermined hematocrit and AC ratio. Replacement fluid delivery may optionally also be provided either substantially continuously during any collection phase(s) and/or in a bolus mode.

The planar ring has a scalloped inner surface, accommodating a range of fletches, with a minimal outside diameter of the ring. Silencers are provided on at least some of the support members to suppress sounds as an arrow is drawn into a shooting position.

A first set of cables is tilted away from the perpendicular in a first direction while a second set of cables is parallel to the edges of the rectangular areas such that members of the second set of cables cross members of the first set of cables. A third set of circumferential cables is provided in the semi-circular end areas. A fourth set of cables intersecting the circumferential cables is non-radially disposed. The slab has a relatively flat lower surface. Pour strips situated along a line of symmetry are provided between adjacent quadrants of the end areas.

The inflation of the band, or sphincter body, can be increased or decreased to adjust the tightness of the device. The inflation device may have a pump mechanism that will respond to external control to increase or decrease the inflation of the sphincter body. The sphincter apparatus will be held in place at the area of implantation by sutures and by fenestration mechanisms, which will allow ingrowths of tissue or fibrous elements of the body around the sphincter apparatus or into porous materials on the sphincter apparatus. The apparatus may also include a circumferential shield on a distal side of the sphincter apparatus.

A removable tab can be pulled away from an opening into the chamber to expose the lubricant after the bite block has been placed in a patient's mouth. A lumen extends from the proximal end to the distal end of the tubular body, through the wall of the tubular body.
