Abstract: An assembly for dampening vibration of a hollow elongated upstanding pole which includes a cylindrical housing specifically adapted to be securely attached to the inside of the upper portion of the pole and containing a weighted member confined within the housing to move therewithin in response to vibration of the pole produced by the wind and having attachment screws extending through the side wall of the pole into threaded openings provided in an attachment rib formed on the wall of the housing.

Abstract: This is a hinge base construction for light poles which provides a non-corrosive hinge connection between the pole and the fixed base member. The connection includes non-corrosive elements to preserve the pivotal relationship between the stationary base and the pole mounting member.

Abstract: A golf club putter embodying this invention is formed from a peripheral rod, bent to provide peripheral weighting of the putter head both at the top and bottom, as well as from heel to toe. The method of manufacturing the putter head includes bending a rod of suitable rigid material, such as stainless steel, into the desired head shape, to provide an enclosed open area into which a striking face insert is installed and permanently held in place with a suitable adhesive filler material, such as a polyester fiberglass resin and attaching the putter head to the bottom of a shaft by means of a threaded connection.

Abstract: This invention is a pole splicing joint construction and method of making the same and consists in initially preparing the upper end portion of the lower pole section to produce a splicing section having an abutment shoulder for the lower end of the upper section. This abutment shoulder is formed at the bottom of the splicing section of the lower pole section which has an outer abutment ring surface lying in a plane oriented substantially normal to the axis of the lower tube section.

Abstract: A warning system construction for slowing traffic by alerting a driver of impending danger, said construction including a supporting base structure such as a mounting frame having longitudinal spaced apart main frame members and a plurality of cross members fixed to said longitudinal members in longitudinal spaced apart relationship with raised segments mounted on selected cross members to engage the tires of a vehicle to notify the driver of impending danger.
