  • Patent number: 8199442
Abstract: A piezoelectric element 13 has a common electrode 19 that receives electricity from a terminal 57. The terminal 57 has a through hole 67 and an electric insulating layer 61. The piezoelectric element 13 is arranged so that the common electrode 19 faces the electric insulating layer 61 of the terminal 57. A liquid stopper 69 is formed around the through hole 67 so as to come between the common electrode 19 and the terminal 57 when the common electrode 19 and terminal 57 are set to face each other. A liquid conductive adhesive 71 is injected into the through hole 67 to fill a gap defined by the liquid stopper 69 between the terminal 57 and the common electrode 19 and secure electric connection between the terminal 57 and the common electrode 19. This configuration improves the reliability of wiring to the piezoelectric element and prevents the piezoelectric element from being damaged.

  • Patent number: 8195006
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for representing a two-dimensional digital image on a projection surface, whereby at least one projector projects the content of an image buffer onto the projection surface. The aim of the invention is to provide a method and a device which allow to project a digital image onto a background having any surface structure and/or color in such a manner that any influences on the image caused by the background are compensated to the last pixel for at least one special observer perspective. In a special embodiment, definition of the representation is optimized to the last pixel even on an uneven background. For this purpose, the digital image is processed during a rendering step by geometrically distorting it using a two-dimensional pixel-offset field which contains information on the projection surface, and by manipulating the color of the image by means of a two-dimensional surface texture of the projection surface.

  • Patent number: 8179023
Abstract: Provided is a package-type piezoelectric sensor which can be packaged at a wafer stage and which is suitable for mass production. A package-type quartz resonator has lead electrodes that are interposed in a close contact state, between on one side stepped surfaces, and on another side a lower surface of a frame portion of a piezoelectric substrate. The close contact state is maintained when a base is joined to a lower surface side of the piezoelectric substrate. By joining a cover to an upper surface side of the piezoelectric substrate and joining the base to the lower surface side of the piezoelectric substrate, the piezoelectric substrate may be easily sealed to be airtight. In particular, a space in a recessed portion of the base is sealed airtight. This enables avoidance of complications in the manufacturing process.
