  • Patent number: 7755798
Abstract: The invention relates to picture color tone control for a printing press. A target color mixture halftone density for each ink supplying unit width when a printing picture is divided with an ink supplying unit width of ink supplying apparatus 6, 7 is set, and an actual color mixture halftone density for each ink supplying unit width of an actually printed sheet obtained by printing is measured using an IRGB densitometer 1. The color mixture halftone densities are individually converted into tone values. A changing ratio for the converted target tone values is set suitably and is reflected on the target tone values and then converted into a monochromatic halftone density. Then, a solid density difference corresponding to a difference between the target monochromatic halftone density and an actual monochromatic halftone density is determined, and the ink supplying amount is adjusted for each ink supplying unit width in response to the solid density difference.

  • Patent number: 7733044
Abstract: An IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) motor system is provided with an IPM motor provided with a stator having slots and a rotor having poles, and a control unit which controls the rotor to the stator. An estimation precision of an initial angle position of the rotor to the stator is selected such that it is substantially the same as an angle unit precision of stable positions of the rotor to the stator which is based on a combination of the number of poles and the number of slots. In this way, the cheap IPM motor system with a high drive efficiency and a control method of the IPM motor system are provided.

  • Patent number: 7692322
Abstract: A wind turbine generator, an active damping method thereof, and a windmill tower in which vibrations of the wind turbine generator itself or the windmill tower can be reduced at low cost are provided. The acceleration due to vibrations of a nacelle (13) is detected with an accelerometer (17) attached to the nacelle (13). In an active damping unit (20), a pitch angle of windmill blades (12) for generating a thrust on the windmill blades (12) so as to cancel out the vibrations of the nacelle (13) is calculated on the basis of the acceleration, and the pitch angle is output as a blade-pitch-angle command ??* for damping. On the other hand, in a pitch-angle control unit (30), a pitch angle of the windmill blades (12) for controlling the output to be a predetermined value is calculated, and the pitch angle is output as a blade-pitch-angle command ?* for output control. The blade-pitch-angle command ??* for damping is combined with the blade-pitch-angle command ?* for output control using a subtracter (40).

  • Patent number: 7482724
Abstract: The present invention provides a technique for enabling permanent magnets constituting the field magnet system of an IPM electric rotating machine to be embedded in a rotor core in a shallower depth. The IPM electric rotating machine is composed of a stator and a rotor. The rotor includes a rotor core and permanent magnets constituting the field magnet system. The rotor core has a side face opposed to the stator, and the permanent magnets are shallowly embedded so that the distance between the pole face thereof and the rotor side face is reduced. Furthermore, two adjacent permanent magnets are intensively spaced so that the following formula holds: 0.3<(Lq?Ld)/Ld, where Lq is the q-axis inductance of the rotor, and Ld is the d-axis inductance thereof.
