Abstract: A container for nestably holding a sink for storing, shipping and displaying. The container forms from a blank of corrugated paperboard scored for folding to provide a back, two opposing side walls, and two opposing end walls. The back includes an opening for partially receiving therethrough the bowl of the sink. A pair of supports are each foldably attached along a first score to a respective one of the end walls. A plurality of sections in the support are defined by second scores. The support folds on the scores and bears against the bottom and the end wall. The sink sits on the support. Two containers are nested together by placing one container on the other. This positions the bottom side of the bowl of one sink in the bowl of the second sink.

Abstract: The cold water bleed propensity of acid and premetallized acid dyed cationic dyeable nylon fibers is substantially reduced by treating the fibers with both a nylon fixing agent and a cotton fixing agent. Colorfastness of acid and premetallized acid dyed nylon fibers, other than CD nylon fibers, is also enhanced by treating the fibers with both a cotton fixing agent and a nylon fixing agent.
Abstract: A mist-emitting apparatus for a vegetable crisper, having a sprayer attached to an upper portion of a housing. A portion of the housing defines a closable reservoir for a supply of water. Means are provided in the housing for operatively communicating with a lower portion of the reservoir to communicate the water under pressure to the sprayer at predetermined intervals for a predetermined period of time. The water, being communicated to the sprayer, is emitted as a mist. A false bottom extends laterally from a lower portion of the housing for supporting fruits and vegetables above the false bottom. The closable container may be a bag or a cavity in the sidewall of the vegetable crisper, separate from the housing and communicating through a tube that connects with a lower portion of the housing. When originally installed in a refrigerator, the sprayer attaches to an interior wall and extends into a vegetable crisper drawer.
Abstract: An earth retaining wall and method having at least a pair of tiers of side-by-side blocks which define a receiving channel for a connector bar with spaced-apart keys that engage apertures in a lattice-like grid extending laterally from the tiers, the grid being covered by backfill for interlocking the backfill with the retaining wall, the keys distributing the load of the backfill evenly across the wall.
Abstract: A machine (10) for erecting end loading sleeve type cartons (20) having oppositely disposed panels has a hopper (11), a carton extraction wheel (28), an intermediary wheel (29), a delivery wheel (30) and a conveyor (13). The extraction wheel has reciprocal moving suction cups (32) for gripping and extracting a carton from the hopper. The intermediary wheels has suction cups (33, 34) for gripping and relaying the carton from the carton extraction wheel. The delivery wheels has suction cups (36, 37) for gripping and relaying the carton from the intermediary wheel while simultaneously separating the panels of the cartons.
Abstract: A mixer (10) for entraining gaseous fuel into an airstream for induction into an internal combustion engine (12) having a turbocharger (13). The mixer has a housing (16) mounted to a conduit (14) between the turbocharger and the engine. The mixer also has a control ring (32) mounted to the housing that has an annular array of holes (39) through which gaseous fuel, from a supply of gaseous fuel coupled to the housing, is introduced into the airstream passing through the mixer and into the engine.
Abstract: A method and apparatus (10) are disclosed for deheading shrimp. The apparatus has grasping means (18) for grasping shrimp positioned upon a support plate (17) and rotating the shrimp to an upright position adjacent a deheading station (14). The deheading station has a pinch block (19) having an elongated edge (46) and a pinch plate (20) which is moved closely past the pinch block. The body of the shrimp is pulled from the head as the shrimp is pinched between the pinch block and the moving pinch plate.
Abstract: The composting of waste material in a batch mode is accomplished by microbiological aerobic activity in a closed cylindrical vessel. The batch composting facility comprises bottom aeration (18) and an agitation auger mechanism (1) to ensure both aerobic and homogeneous composting conditions.
Abstract: An additive to cement based materials to render the materials self-leveling upon being mixed with water and applied as a coating upon a floor substrate. The additive comprises a formaldehyde based resin, preferably melamine formaldehyde, and a water retention agent, preferably xanthan gum alone, hydroxyethyl cellulose alone, or a combination thereof.
Abstract: A packing material for formation of a seal for a rotary or reciprocating shaft is disclosed wherein a core element is enveloped by a sheet of expanded graphite material. The core element is preferably formed of a wire mesh and solid graphite. The enveloping process is accomplished in such a manner as to wrap the core element with a self-lubricating surface material. The packing material of the present invention provides the advantages of graphite packings and metallic core packings.

Abstract: A method of making a container (10) having a unitary spout pull tab from a continuous sheet of flexible material (11) comprises the steps of folding the sheet to form two opposite side walls (23) joined at a bottom end by a bottom wall (20) and open at a top end opposite the bottom wall. Elongated portions of the two side walls are sealed together along their side edges to form two side seals (27) at least one of which includes a tab portion (12). Two breachably sealed V-folds (33, 34) are formed in the side walls adjacent the top end straddling the tab portion of the one side seal. Upon manually pulling the tab portion of the one side seal, the breachable seals of the V-folds straddling the tab portion of the one side seal may be broken and the two V-folds pulled outwardly to collectively form an open spout (S).
Abstract: An electric plug locking device (10), which remains affixed to an electric plug (13) for preventing unsupervised use of electrical equipment, has an upper housing member (11) movably mounted to a lower housing member (12). The upper housing member which has an opening (23) for receiving a plug terminal (15) moves from a position that shields the terminal to prevent it from being inserted into an electrical socket to a position that unshields the plug terminal to permit it to be inserted into the socket.
Abstract: A cowling for enclosing a marine propulsion unit with a recess having a port that communicates air to the engine. A plate having spaced-apart openings is received on the port. A diverter screen covers the openings. The diverter screen is adapted for communicating air from the openings through the diverter screen to the port and for restricting flow of water therethrough.
Abstract: An air freshener apparatus having a recess defined by a tray, two sidewalls extending upwardly therefrom with overlapping flanges, and an upstanding end wall slidably received on a blade of a ceiling fan with a foam pad impregnated with a scent material received in the recess. Two hook-like arms extend outwardly from the tray for slidingly holding the air freshener apparatus on an upper surface of the fan blade.
