    Abstract: A purse 10 is provided with a front wall 14 and a back wall 16 aligned with and spaced from the front wall. The purse 10 is also provided with a first side wall 18 which is aligned to engage one end of the front and back walls 14 and 16 and a second side wall 20 which is aligned to engage another end of the front and back walls. A bottom wall 22 is aligned to engage bottom portions of the front and back walls 14 and 16 and first and second side walls 18 and 20. Additionally a lid 36 is provided having portions thereof aligned adjacent to the back wall 16. A decorative member 58 is provided which is coupled to an outside wall of the front, back, and side walls 14, 16, 18 and 20 and the lid 36. The purse is provided with lamination 60 for engaging inside and outside portions of the walls. The lid 36 is pivotably coupled to the back wall so that the lid can be moved to cover an opening 24 in the purse. Further a latch 48 is provided to couple the lid 36 to the front wall.

    Abstract: An ear protecting device 10 is provided for protecting an individual's ear 12 from heat and moisture. The device 10 includes a lower support member 18 for covering areas 28 around and adjacent to the ear 12 and an upper support member 34 aligned with the lower support member for covering the ear. The upper support member 34 includes a recessed member 64 having an aperture 86 formed in a lower portion thereof. The recessed member 64 is provided for covering a recessed inside surface 58 of the ear 12 when the aperture 86 is aligned adjacent the ear canal. A diagonally descending back member 46 is coupled between an outermost portion of one side of the upper support member 34 and an innermost portion of one side of the lower support member 18 for covering a back diagonally descending member 42 of the ear 12. When the device is in place the device conforms to the shape of the ear 12 thereby covering the entire ear as well as adjacent areas 28 of the individual's head 14.

A passenger compartment 60 is located behind the driver's compartment 50 having a first seat 62 for seating a first plurality of passengers and a second seat 64 for seating a second plurality of passengers thereon. The second seat 64 is aligned and spaced from the first seat 62 so that the passengers in the seat 62 will face the passengers in the seat 64 when seated on the seats. A storage compartment 70 is also provided directly behind the passenger compartment 60.

The photographic memorial marker 30 is provided with a picture 60 for identifying the deceased person in the casket 10. A support member 32 is provided for supporting the picture 60 on the front and back wall members 14 and 16. A first protective cover member 62 is aligned with and coupled to the bottom of the picture 60 on the support member 32. A second protective cover member 64 is aligned with and coupled to the top portion of the picture 60. A sealing member 66 is provided to cover the second protective cover 64 and the support member 32 so that the picture 60 is protected from moisture, and so that a harden durable surface is provided.

    Abstract: A recreational storage and audio apparatus 10 is provided with a chest 12 having an open area 24 formed therein and a lid 36 for covering the open area. A pair of wheels 54 is coupled to a bottom wall 22 of the chest 12. A first handle 62 is pivotably coupled to one end of the chest 12 and a second handle 68 is mounted for slidable movement in the chest adjacent another end of the chest. The second handle 68 is provided to be used in conjunction with the first handle 62 when the second handle is moved to a first position to allow the chest 12 to be picked up and carried and is provided to be used in conjunction with the wheels 54 when the second handle is moved to a second position to allow the chest to be moved on the wheels and rolled in a horizontal direction. Additionally, an AM/FM radio 100, cassette player 110, and compact disc player 120 are coupled to and supported on the lid 36.

The apparatus 10 includes a crutch 12 and a leg assembly 60, coupled to the crutch which allows the crutch to be supported in a horizontal position. The leg assembly is provided with a pair of legs 62 which are pivotably mounted to the crutch 12 by a support member 74. The support member 74 allows legs 62 to be pivoted to a closed position to extend to a position parallel to the crutch when the crutch is used in an upright position and allows the legs to be pivoted in an open position to extend to a position diagonally outwardly from the crutch so that the crutch can be supported in a horizontal position to support a leg of a user.

    Abstract: An adjustable mounting apparatus 10 is provided for supporting and holding a telescope 12 in a predetermined position. The mounting apparatus 10 includes a base support member 14 in which the telescope 12 is placed. A first pair of adjustment screws 40 and 42 mounted in one side of the support member 14 are provided to engage adjacent side portions of the telescope 12 on one side of the support member, and a second pair of adjustment screws 40 and 42, mounted in the other side of the support member 14 are provided to engage adjacent side portions of the other side of the telescope. A first elastic band 48 is removably couplable to a first pair of post 44 for engaging an upper portion of telescope 12, and a second elastic band is removably couplable to a second pair of post 46 for engaging other upper portions of telescope 12. As a result the telescope 12 can be held in place in a predetermined stationary position.

    Abstract: A traffic control system 10 is provided having an illuminating member 42 and a rotating drum 48. The drum 48 is provided with a red reflector 50, a green reflector 52 and a yellow reflector 54 formed on different portions thereof. A control channel 14 is provided for selectively rotating the drum 48 so that each reflector 50, 52 and 54 can be illuminated by the illuminating member 42 thus providing an indication whether a vehicle should stop, go or exercise caution. The traffic control system 10 is also provided with a monitoring channel 16 which monitors the control channel 14 to insure the circuit is operating properly.

    Abstract: A wheel chair ramp and restraining device 10 for positioning a wheel chair 64 in a vehicle 12 is provided. The wheel chair ramp and restraining device in accordance with the principles of this invention includes a ramp 20 having first and second platform members 22 and 24 respectively. The first platform member 22 is pivotably coupled to an entrance of the vehicle 12 and the second platform member 24 is pivotably coupled to first platform member. The coupling arrangement allows the first and second platform members 22 and 24 to be folded and stored in an upright position in the vehicle 12 or extended diagonally out of the vehicle to provide a surface for moving the wheel chair 64 into and out of the vehicle. The device also includes a restraining assembly 70 having a mechanism for locking device 86 for engaging each of the wheels 66 of the wheel chair 64 once the wheel chair is moved into the vehicle.

    Abstract: An apparatus 10 for removing underground contaminants from a contaminated subsurface area 16 is provided. The apparatus 10 includes a wellbore 12 aligned in the contaminated subsurface area for releasing predetermined substances into selected areas of the contaminated subsurface area so that the substances and contaminates are intermixed and for recovering the intermixture of substances and contaminates from selected areas of the contaminated subsurface area. A driving apparatus 83 is provided for rotating and sliding an inner housing 68 of the wellbore 12 along first and second predetermined paths respectively. An injection system 22 injects the predetermined substances into the wellbore 12 and recovery system 26 applies pressure to the wellbore so that the intermixture of substances and contaminants can be extracted from the contaminated area. The intermixture of substances and contaminates are then collected and stored for subsequent removal in a vacuum tank 28.
